Most Helpful Positive Review Don't shoot bugs with it, it leaves holes in the wall.
I have a compact AR. I'v never been really happy with a few different scopes I'v put on it. Too long, too heavy, not clear, not enough magnification... This is a perfect fit. Surprisingly clear for it's size and price. You don't see many in this price range with parallax adjustment. Also comes with e...

Couldn’t get the crosshairs to focus. Had to refocus the image every time I changed the magnification. Could be my old eyes but the crosshairs were always out of focus and I couldn’t see the mil dots clearly. Sure was easy to send it back. Sure won’t stop me from using OpticsPlanet again.

Overall, pretty good

by Armyvet, from PA, United States Written on November 6, 2023
Put this on my .22 and sighted it in for 50 yards for 100. Everything worked well except parallax comp. Would not focus at anything but infinity setting. When resetting zero setting on knob, don't loosen screw more than 2 1/2 turns or it may bind. I like it, but would not buy again at the price. I recommend this with reservations.
Pros:
  • Good imaging, accurate adjustments
Cons:
  • Parallax adjustment way off
Would recommend: Yes

Unbeatable scope

by Futingo, from AR, United States Written on October 20, 2021
Put one like this in a 16” PCC 9mm. Is holding very well and maintaining zero after 1,000 rounds. With full magnification, Im hitting 1 inch groups at 100 yards. For the price, you cant beat that. Battery didn’t last long.
Pros:
  • Grea price
  • Holds zero
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Target shooting
  • Plincking

Great for 22lr anf 22wmr

by Vandar, Verified Owner from NC, United States Written on March 27, 2021
The Leapers UTG 3-12x32 BugBuster Riflescope was great for my Sig 522 because your not really going over 100 yards with a 22lr anyway. The 3-12 beats a 2-9 in my opinion. I liked is enough to purchase on for my Kel-Tek CMR-30.
Best Used for:
  • 22lr rifle
  • 22wmr rifle

Cool scope

by Jimmy, from WI, United States Written on November 9, 2018
Super clear glass, lite weight , short, side focus is great, all that is an awesome package that works great on my Marauder. 3-12 power is a perfect package. Shot 7 out of 8 shots in one hole at 20 yards.
Pros:
  • Great package
  • all features are great
Cons:
  • None

Best bang for the buck!

by Teachu2, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on November 9, 2018
I think this is a perfect match to the S&W M&P 15-22. Everything works as it should, and it looks like it was designed to fit the rifle. 3-12, AO, easy to set up, QD rings, sunshade...what's not to love?
Pros:
  • lots of goodies
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Plinking & target shooting

Great scope for the money

by Riverdale, from MS, United States Written on September 15, 2018
It has a great use for my 357 air rifle but would put another one on my AR in a heart beat. The side focus works well and is accurate to what I've paced off to 100 yards. I'm really happy with it and will get another one soon.
Pros:
  • The price and compact size
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • 7.62x39 and smaller

best scope you can buy for a ar15 thats under $150. this scope has bagged many and i mean many deer accuracy is up to 300 yards. never had any issues and i'm rough with my guns 5k rounds a year, thrown into a closet when not in use and dropped many a times a few from a deer stand to catch myself from falling.
Pros:
  • Durable (good luck breaking it)
  • Accurate and easy to use.
  • diy night vision compatable
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Hunting 10yd - 300yds

Very Clear Scope

by David M Summers, from MO, United States Written on April 1, 2018
This is a shorter version of the compact scope. I have it on a Ruger Charger Takedown pistol. It doesn't go past the takedown half. Making it easy for storage. It holds zero, it has lockable turrets and is zero resetable. So when u zero it in. U can turn it back to "0" so u can adjust accordingly at longer ranges. I would recommend any leapers product. They are good priced and are good quality
Pros:
  • value
  • Quality
  • cost
Cons:
  • No illuminated reticle
Would recommend: Yes

Overall good compact scope, great on my take down Ruger 10/22

by Robert, from NC, United States Written on March 5, 2018
Overall good scope. The scope is clear and the adjustments are crisp. The included mounts are decent. No problems with set up or installation. The only negative I have found is the pop-up lens caps aren't of the same quality as the rest of the components. I ended up replacing them almost immediately as the rear one broke after a few uses and they were very loud when activated. I would recommend the scope itself. This scope is a perfect fit for a Ruger take down 10/22. The scope does not extend past the take down receiver.
Pros:
  • good overall quality
Cons:
  • Cheap pop-up lens caps

Great Scope

by DD Shooter, from FL, United States Written on February 21, 2018
This is a great scope from UTG, I gave 4 stars because the crosshairs (wich are not illuminated) are hard to see when dark) other than that a great scope. I also ordered it with the high ring set for the AR 15 that I shoot, much better with the 1/4 inch height, service from Optics Planet as always was superior, great customer service .
