It is about what I expected out of an optic in this price range. The things I really dislike about this particular optic are the picatinny quick-detach lever and set screws on the windage and elevation adjustment turrets.
The quick-detach lever has a couple issues in itself. First, when I put the optic on the rail, it sits nice and square, then when the lever is engaged to lock the optic to the rail, one side lifts up slightly. It isn't dramatic, but you can definitely tell the optic is not completely vertical when looking down the barrel. The other issue I have with the quick-detach lever is after shooting for a while, I notice the lever starting to creep from the locked setting. If never completely flipped to the unlock position, but it would definitely creeps and I have to push it back down after 50 rounds or so. I just have this on a Mossberg 715P .22 pistol that I use for plinking, so there isn't much recoil. I'm not sure if a gun with a heavier recoil would actually make the lever flip open or not.
With the adjustment turrets, I don't really care for each screw using two set screws to lock the turret. They work and lock down securely, I just don't like having to tighten four screws to lock the adjustment turrets on this sight. It's not the end of the world though.
For positives, I'd say it works alright for what I'm using it for. I hit decent groups with it, I just have to make sure the locking lever stays down while shooting. I like my optics to have both red and gr...
