Most Helpful Positive Review Leepers UTG Max Strength Rings
I am a rifle instructor and I've found these rings to mount up strong. They are easy to use and release and return the scope to zero when remounted. I recommend them to my students who shoot high power rifles in my classes and can't afford designer name rings. They are a good value and just plain wo...

Most Helpful Negative Review LE Grade Quick Detach Picatinny
Seems well made and robust enough for the application I was looking for. (mounting a Rimfire Scope on my 10/22) My only complaint is the only way to adjust the tightness of the scope ring is with the supplied hex wrench. So if you don't carry it with you everywhere you go and the mount comes loose y...

Great QD rings

by Rene Foote, Verified Owner from VA, United States Written on August 4, 2024
I've been using these rings for a couple years now in both 1" and 30mm. They seem to be very solid and have never lost zero. I've even detached/reattached them just to see if they could repeat zero, and they were so close I was surprised considering the price. I'm very happy with them, happy enough to have 4 pairs.
Pros:
  • Strong, repeat zero, good price, work great for tactical lights as well.
Cons:
  • None

Good mounts

by Kevin, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on June 5, 2024
Needed a set of quick detach rings to easily switch from scope to irons on my lever gun. These seem well built for the job. I'm not expecting to take this thing into battle so I think these will do just fine.

These rings are just fine for a short range varmint center fire rifle. The work fine on my .17 HMR.

I certainly am happy enough with these rings for my purpose.

Still shooting sub MOA at 100 yards.

Use various heights on all my optics, LOVE EM!

by Jack Bauer, Verified Owner from AP, United States Written on October 6, 2022
Solid "zero" repeatability. Accurate machining. I've never had a problem with them and I use them on 6 scopes I have, both in 30mm and 1 inch ring sizes. If you want to be able to exchange optics depending upon your hunting conditions, these are my choice, just make sure that you purchase the right heigh, low, medium, or high depending upon your scope and platform.

Cheaper leaper

by Nathan, Verified Owner from TN, United States Written on April 1, 2022
You get what you pay for. These rings work ok except for the fact they loosen with use and you have to retighten them every time you come home from the range. Also idk what happened but they peeled the hard coat anodize on one of my rifles off in both spots I had the rings mounted. Makes my very nice rifle look very bad. Literally peeled the coating down to the silver metal. Moral of the story buy once cry once I will never get these again and I am now purchasing one piece cantilever mounts to replace the two sets of these rings I own.
Pros:
  • Cheap rings
Cons:
  • cheap quality
Best Used for:
  • Garbage

Outstanding performance for the price!!

by customer, Verified Owner from AZ, United States Written on February 23, 2022
I have magnum air rifle springers too 300 WinMags and pretty much everything in between. These rings are the highest quality I've found for the hard earned money we spend on such items. I also love the flexibility of putting these on my scopes that tend to get switched around with red dots or sometimes just needing quick open sights. Good examples are rim fires like your favorite 10/22 or centerfire big boy guns. Don't knock the super high see-thru rings on my 30-30 haha, it gets the job done close and far. These Q.D. rings would be on the ol'Marlin if I wasn't so sentimental to tradition. The anti walk material is a plus, and if not needed, a swipe of alcohol cleans off the mating surfaces for a good lapping. They are priced fair enough that a person can get a few sets ranging in height so as to get a correct fit, and one can never have to many parts and pieces to your ever changing and perhaps hopefully always growing collection of second amendment tools ;]
Keep the peace, Arizona Wayne.
Pros:
  • Versatile and strong
Cons:
  • Unavailable in 3/8 or 11mm
Best Used for:
  • takedown weapons and switching to open sights quickly.

Scope Rings

by Ricky, from GA, United States Written on January 24, 2022
All UTG products that I have purchased have been great. They are well made and dependable. I use a lot of their products from scopes to mounting brackets to flashlights to pic rails. Never had a any problems with any of their products or felt insecure with mounts or rails. The only reason I sent back the scope rings is I ordered the wrong size and that was my fault and a friend gave me a set that fit.
Pros:
  • Strong and well made, would order again
Cons:
  • Don't have any cons
