Most Helpful Positive Review This mid length handguard does NOT fit without modification.
These Super Slim handguards are light, compact and easy to install on the rifle and carbine length. This mid length however is about 3/16" too long. You can remove the gas block if possible or if not you must remove material from the Delta ring end until it will slip in. I like these so much that I have installed 4 of them. A rifle length, a carbine length and two mid length units. I felt that you should know beforehand what you had coming.

Fits, easy install, only product I could find that would work.

It is my understanding that the early versions of these handguards were too long. I put this on BCM mid-length, 14.5" pinned upper. It was the only non-free float "slimmish" product I could find. It installed easy and fits. Doesn't make me say, "Ahhhh....," like my Midwest Industry Super Slim handguard, but better than a quad rail. I only have about 100 rounds through the gun since installing it.

A Nice Slim Hand guard

I bought this hand guard as a low price alternative to the more expensive freefloat style handguards until I buy one. It looks like it is quality constructed. UTG even has a YouTube channel along with videos that show you how to install their products. You would need to have a barrel nut wrench in hand when you install it just in case the barrel nut isn't perfectly aligned for the "backbone" ribs on the hand guard. Also,I would apply blue loctite on the screws that fasten the top and bottom handguards together.

Excellent finish and fit; and includes FOUR aluminum rails. T His hand guard is a truly super slim, especially for a 2-piece drop-in, in that there is no rail on the bottom like the free float super slims.
