From the other reviews, it looks like this is frequently purchased by morons. It's a fixed, rifle-length stock for an AR. It does not and should no fit carbine tubes. It does not require a spacer. It does fit standard A2 rifle extension tubes, but fitment WILL vary...the cheaper you go on the receiver extension, the more likely it is to have a tight fit, as your tube is likely out of spec, and this is designed around "Milspec" extensions, so you're getting on Amazon and buying the cheapest thing available, who knows what spec it's made to. Does Not fit

Should be 0 Stars on this. This is there words according to them. AR15 Ops-Ready S5 Fixed Stock is compatible with rifle-length receiver extension tube, meaning it won't require an A2 Buttstock Spacer to install.S i have tried on 3 different tubs i used heat. tryed to drive it through. it is so tight it wont push all the way through. it even looks like factory nut would be to big to fit with the tub lock. Very frustrating just a waste of money. Now it looks good in the garbage.

Hard to fit

Very hard to fit on the tube it appears that is warped I had to file it from inside and heat it up several times I tried to put it on my FN FNAR but than I could not get aye relief would have to get taller rings for the optics so I scrapped the project
