Love everything about this. Slim & sleek, lightweight, and adds a nice custom pop to the rifle.

Easy install - does require a low-profile gas block. Youtube video available that walks you thru step by step.

Really light weight color is exactly how I thought it would be, only downside is some of the edges were really sharp

I really like the black with red accents, though I thought it was supposed to be a bright red as opposed to the darker burgundy looking color. However, it came with a barrel nut, screws, shims, and a small armors wrench. Shipping did not take very long, even during the holiday week when I had placed the order. Aside from the unexpected color, it is a nice feeling rail with a great style.

The quality is amazing at half the price of others you always hear you get what you pay for but this is not one of those these handgaurds are of amazing quality I would recommend these to anyone just make sure you read the instructions because they are different from others

I don't usually write reviews, but this is one good looking hand guard. Instalation was super easy. It came with a wrench, you just need a torque wrench. The color red matches perfect. It looked better than I imagined.

Bought this to spiff up my Mother’s rifle a bit with a red theme . This is the 3rd utg pro handguard I’ve bought and I believe it to be the best value in a handguard. The attachment system is easy and is very durable

Overall a really nice handguard. I bought the blue one to go with my blue-themed AR build. Nice match with most of my other components. Finish seems nice and the overall look is nice. It comes with a great assortment of attachment options. Barrel nut is robust (comes with a wrench) and install looks straightforward. And it does NOT have to be timed which is great. Handguard is nice and light and seems rather rigid.

My issue came when mating with my Wilson Combat billet upper. The anti-rotation tabs don’t allow the handguard to fit flush with the billet handguard. I believe this won’t be an issue with true mil-spec uppers but it is on mine. I will have to trim off the tabs to make it work. I don’t think this will be an issue but you should make sure it will work with your upper if you don’t want to start modifying your handguard. My mistake for not catching this but it wasn’t totally clear to me to look at this issue.

I have a few other UTG / Leapers components and this handguard is also nice. Would recommend.

Its better than the higher priced handguards for two reasons. 1. it gives you an extra 100 to 150 bucks to spend on other areas of your build like a trigger group or optics. 2. it locks up solid, the way the ears over lap the upper it can't twist loose. Even if some how it did there is minimal play between the handguard and the upper receiver to really move at all. The barrel nut is designed so its supper easy to line up the mounting holes. The fit and finish is exceptional. I really like the option of more then just 3,6 and 9 o'clock position for attaching pic rails. it puts my Inforce gen 2 light right at my thumb. It comes with the barrel nut and wrench, a 3 inch rail, a QD sling mount and allen wrenches. Also the directions are easy if you need them.

Fits right, no wiggle at all. Comes with everything you need to mount it, including a wrench for the barrel nut. Also comes with qd sling attach and a couple of short rail sections. Finish on this handguard is great, looks awesome on the rifle.
