Missing hardware

I ordered the UTG pro AR 15 carbine Lane drop in quad drill after installing it on the rifle. I was looking vigorously only to find that it did not come with the four necessary hex head bolts to tight down the quad drill so now I’m having to reach out to UTG pro to find out how I can get four bolts so that I can finally get back on the range. Other than that, the rails look fabulous and exceed my expectations and quality.

Great upgrade on my AR-15/M-4 clone carbine

After the 30 wait for this item to arrive it went on very easily. Unlike some other reviewers all the holes lined up correctly, the top part mounted perfectly over the gas tube and both parts snapped right in. After mounting the handguard quad rail and the fore grip/light I found the remaining rail parts to be a bit rough on my hands, so I attempted to mount the plastic cover pieced to the quid rail, at first this was extremally difficult as the pieces were very rigid and I only got one on with a fight. I figured if they were plastic them maybe heat might soften them, so I placed them in a cup of very hot water for about 30 seconds, and they went on much easier. I am so far very happy with the quid rail system.

  • Had covers for exposed quad rail
Cons:
  • Rail covers very hard to install without heating them
Best Used for:
  • Carbine length AR style platforms.
