Great upgrade on my AR-15/M-4 clone carbine

After the 30 wait for this item to arrive it went on very easily. Unlike some other reviewers all the holes lined up correctly, the top part mounted perfectly over the gas tube and both parts snapped right in. After mounting the handguard quad rail and the fore grip/light I found the remaining rail parts to be a bit rough on my hands, so I attempted to mount the plastic cover pieced to the quid rail, at first this was extremally difficult as the pieces were very rigid and I only got one on with a fight. I figured if they were plastic them maybe heat might soften them, so I placed them in a cup of very hot water for about 30 seconds, and they went on much easier. I am so far very happy with the quid rail system.

  • Rail covers very hard to install without heating them

  • Carbine length AR style platforms.

Anyone looking for a budget..USA made quad rail.. this is your pick! Very tight fitment, very sturdy, and it's U.S. made! Not all UTG stuff is made here, just the Pro line of their rails. I got the blemish quad rail, didn't see a blem, but it's getting rattle canned anyways. Nothing wrong in seeking blems, save where you can, specially on cheap plinkers.
