Most Helpful Positive Review Decent scope
Not a fan of things that require batteries so the fact that if the battery dies you can still use the scope is awesome. I'm more of a plinker than anything else so I can't attest to using it for hunting. Overall seems well built, could focus with both eyes open, and my mail carrier kind of threw it ...

Most Helpful Negative Review Off-Balance ... Follow up
I tested and tried adjusting this scope over the past a two months. Presently the POI is still ‘right’ of POA by at 2 inches. Today I retested everything again and this is what I’ve determined. (A) The base tends to lean right if tightened down hard, but can be corrected. (B) But the worst par...

cant sight in zero

by blndsde, Verified Owner from NC, United States Written on March 19, 2021
Looks great, but first shots are about 2 ft right of POA at 25 yrds. The closest i could get it is within 3-4" right of POA. No good. Beware of purchase, looking at other reviews it is a "roll if the dice" whether you get a functional scope.

Good value

by sean, Verified Owner from MI, United States Written on December 4, 2020
For the money this product functions well and was pleased with its performance. Had no problem staying zero on a AR in binary mode. I would highly this product for anyone looking for a sight in a reasonable price range.

by Justin, Verified Owner from MO, United States Written on November 9, 2020
The optics on this were phenomenal but after trying to zero I took a look at how it was mounted the scope and mount are separate pieces and were crooked so instead of trying to fix myself I am in the process of returning hopefully will get my store credit soon it has been a few weeks now
Pros:
  • Optics
Cons:
  • Not reliable crooked mount

Perfect for astigmatism.

by Stephen, from CO, United States Written on August 1, 2019
Regular red dot sights are blurry to me but this scope has etched glass so it's crystal clear. I put this on a 300 blackout pistol. 200 rounds with no flaws. I definitely recommend if you wear glasses or have astigmatism.

Off-Balance

by ALA, Verified Owner from MA, United States Written on April 26, 2019
After mounting this scope and taking to the range to zero on my Marlin 33CS, I found that I had to 'peg' the windage control knob all the way to the left just to get my shots within 2 inches of center at 25 yards! I took the scope home and dismounted it. Verified again that the rail was balanced on the rifle...YES. Then I dismounted the scope from its own mounting bracket and tried to verify that the mounting bracket was level... NOT while sitting by itself on a level surface. So I mounted just the scope bracket onto the rifle rail to make sure it was balanced... still NO. I loosened it and tightened back up the screws... Still NO... off-balance. I had to use a emory paper to sand away some material from one side of the clamp mounts in order to get the bracket to mount balanced. Then I verified that the scope itself was balanced... Heck NO! That was even worse. I had to use more emory paper to sand and sand to get the mounting surface and scope level. Then I mounted the scope to its mounting bracket and then mounted the bracket to the gun rail and low and behold, it was out of balance again! WT...?? Turned out that the mounting channel slot did not marry up to the scope mounting platform evenly, preventing the scope from screwing down level onto the scope mounting channel. Back to sanding. Finally, I removed enough material from one side of the mounting channel slot so that the scope mounted balanced. Now the scope appears to be balanced on this rifle. I plan to t...

Good scope for the money

by Joe G, Verified Owner from PA, United States Written on February 8, 2019
I have this on my new Sig M400 tread for about 400 rounds now and it is holding zero so far. Only reason so far for not a 5 star is the lack of instructions on using the different color options for the reticle. Other than that, so far so good.
Pros:
  • Good value , simple installation
Cons:
  • None

It does what is supposed to

by Fabe, from FL, United States Written on December 26, 2018
I have read some reviews before I purchased this scope, there were positive and negative ones...I decided to go ahead and buy and decide on my own.The clarity of the scope is acceptable for me,eye relief could be better,as I have to get close to it,that wasn't a big deal,as the magnification doesn't allow for co-witness,I placed it very close to me,I cannot deploy the back iron sights, but the scope has an etched reticle,so no need for them, all in all, I'm happy so far.
Pros:
  • Cost, ergonomics,clarity
Cons:
  • none so far
Best Used for:
  • gun range

UTG 4X32 Prismatic scope

by Devotion86, from CO, United States Written on July 15, 2018
Once again UTG has done it again I am a big believer of leaper products. So fare they have not disappoint me yet I have bought a lot of there products and the quality, fit and finish is great not to mention that I have yet to have a performance issues yet. This scope is a great option for AR builds packed full of great features that would cost you a fortune with most other brands.
Pros:
  • Clear optics
  • Illuminated reticle
  • Dual mounting options
  • Sturdy style mounting design
Cons:
  • could be lighter

awesome optic for the money

by art, from PA, United States Written on January 30, 2018
Cant go wrong with this purchase, as with all of utg / leapers gear you get way more than your moneys worth, this scope would cost you twice the money with any other name one it. This optic is very clear and well built, it has fairly generous eye relief as well, there will be several more in my future.
Pros:
  • price, design
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • tactical short work
