I bought two of these to test, rather than more expensive alternates. Both were tested on 9mm pistols and had at least 100 rounds fired with the unit in place. Both still work fine and maintained solid locks on the pistols.

The amount of light delivered is good for inside a home. I have a more powerful light from another manufacturer, but it can almost be blinding off a white wall. These seem to hit a happy medium, which is appropriate for home defense, but probably not for large commercial spaces.

I'm also quite fond of the lever lock, rather than having to unscrew it from the weapon.

I can attest they attach well on the Bersa Thunder UC 9mm and on the small polymer frame EAA Witness in 9mm. The unit is just a hair too long for attaching to the limited space on a Beretta Ultra Compact PX4 in 9mm.

Please note: I bought these as gifts for use by my adult children in defending their homes. There's no way I'd scrimp on keeping my kids safe and I believe these are reliable and appropriate for that use. The decent price is a benefit. I'll probably buy another one for *me*.
