Good Scope for the Money
Picked Up one of these for my CZ527 223 bolt gun. The glass is clear and good for the money. This gun is used for prairie dogs. I like the reticle and I can find it when shooting in a dark background.
The reticle can be used to rangefind a known dimension. I usually have my rangefinder with me but it is nice to have a backup without needing to do math.

Discontinued - "Early Access/ Beta " Product
The Model with Mrad Turrets and the Mrad/Moa combo reticle has been discontinued and replaced with a totally different scope.
Little did I know I was participating in an "early access / beta" program.
I recently tried to buy additional Pentalux scopes for other rifles; wanting to keep the turret/reticle system the same across rifles.
Since this is no longer possible; I have ordered several scopes from another brand to keep the system the same across rifles and plan to sell the Pentalux scope.
The new model btw; has MOA turrets and a MOA reticle with thick cross hairs that look like they would be better suited to a FFP scope.
Not knowing if Hi-Lux will discontinue the new model like they did the old model; I do not recommend buying any of their Pentalux scopes until they are fully fleshed out into a mature products that will be around for awhile.
