Pure trash

by MikeV, from TX, United States Written on April 18, 2019
Worst scope imaginable. Total disappointment; the scope is not clear, The crosshairs are way to thin & blury to distinguish them while looking at a target at 100 yards; even turning it up to 30X. As you turn the power up the crosshairs become more bold so at 15X or 20X its totally useless, even at 30X it's a foggy blur. Shooting at a target at 100 yards you have to turn the scope up all the way to 30 power just to have the crosshairs somewhat distinguishable enough to shoot at the bull's-eye. When you adjust the focal plane to get the target "focused" as you can get it and that's not very well the crosshairs are completely blurred out. So therefore when you try to focus in the crosshairs as best you can the target is totally blurred out, it's not possible to focus them both in at the same time even at 100 yards on any setting. At first glance I knew immediately the scope would be returned. The windage and elevation underneath the crosshairs is blurred and not usable on any setting. After 15 minutes of use the side focus stopped working all together and it was like looking in a fogged mirror. Literally wouldn't want this scope if it were given to me. If I were sent on a mission and I had my choice of the $6.99 pronghorn Tasco at academy or this Phenome I would take the Tasco. Its hard to imagine a worse scope on the market at any price. Complete waste of materials and manpower to produce. Optics planet did give me a full refund

Phenom from Hi Lux afordable including all desirable features

by Nelson, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on September 14, 2018
I like this Scope, i compare all scopes in this price range and then i found this new model fro Hi Lux, and i am glad i did no buy any other before. First and most important; The glass clarity test. This scope has good clarity and great picture at maximum power 30X, i have use a few hi end scopes and you cant tell the difference or at least will be minimum, it does not get blurry or foggy even here in hot humid Florida. Secondly; it has all features one will want in a long range scope, others will always miss one specially zero stop quick locking turrets, also Flip-up covers and Magnification Throw Lever (In other scopes you have to buy them separately) loos really nice and solid build with the quality of Hi Lux since was used in the armed forces for many years. Great customer service, they answer the phone immediately and call you back not like others...i just got the get used to the mill-radium short clicks turret adjustments because i always had Mil-Dot scopes before, but was very easy to zero at 100Y. Great scope for the price.
