9mm Lee taper crimp die
Works as described using my RCBS rock chucker. Just follow the enclosed instructions to your reloaded. This die Crimped my 9mm shell casings to have a smoother transition to each of the bullets, without issues.

Lee Taper Crimp Dies what were needed
Began handloading 380ACP and 9mm cartridges and had multiple jams - especially with the 380ACP. Thought it was cartridge length, but several different lengths did not solve the problem. Discovered that the standard 3 die pistol die sets did not allow proper bullet seating depth and case crimp without deforming the bullet. If I backed off of the crimp setting on the 3rd die to not deform the bullet, a shoulder remained on the case which caused all of the jamming and malfunctions of the cartridges. Solution was to set bullet depth with the 3rd die, back off on the crimp altogether and then case crimp with Lee Taper Crimp Dies on the 4th station. Worked beautifully and now have desired quantities of reliable 380ACP and 9mm stock.

- Don't like the supplied mounting nut/O-ring setup. Substituted standard mounting Nut.
Best Used for:
- Semi-Auto Pistol cartridges. I did not need for revolver cartridges.
