NEW RINGS OR SAME SET

I purchased the same set of rings previously. I got a refund and store credit. I used the credit to purchase this set. These however; had the same exact issue. They appeared to be new but when I screwed the base closed it wouldn’t clamp on one of the rings. So, then I thought they sent back the same set. The screws were pre-threaded like the last set so I attempted to tighten them down. Either too much loctite or the base is not completely threaded. Same as the previous set. Instead of trying “third times a charm” I ground off about three and a half threads with the dremel. Now it clamps perfectly. I didn’t try threading the other screw to see if it would clamp because I didn’t want to mess up the loctite.

Well made, but a bit low for my specific scope

These rings are very well made. Unfortunately the Leupold description says the ring height is 0.85", but that is not the height the ring elevates the scope off the receiver, that is measured from the bottom of ring base to the top of the lower ring
half where the top half joins. Subtract half the scope diameter to calculate the actual scope elevation from the receiver.
Pros:
  • High Quality, all surfaces machined well, screws fit perfectly.
Cons:
  • Too short for planned use - scope requires much higher ring.

Nice Pistol scope rings.

These are typical Leupold products. Perfect for mounting a scope on my high end pellet pistol. An FX Ranchero .22. Nice compact design. I love Leupold products, and OpticsPlanet is a great company to do business with. Good prices, great service, and they have everything right here on their web site.

Another Great Leupold Product

Purchased these rings for the CZ 452 American and they fit perfect. The 452 American has an odd 3/8 dovetail that few rings will fit correctly, the leupold rings mount tight and have the correct angle on clamp when installed. These are not high rings but they did clear the bolt when paired with the 3-9x33 scope.

Leupold Rimfire Ring Mount

Great 11mm rings and mounting option for .22 Rimfire rifles. Used these to mount Leopold 12x target scope to a CZ 455 combo rifle .22/.17 HMR. One note - Double check which way the clamps are turned for best fit. Had to rotate mine 180 degrees to properly fit the CZ factory rails.

Hard to beat the best

Leupold, enough said! Fit was tight and perfect for my CZ 512. A great little plinker for some fun times. Just wish 22 mag ammo was cheaper and easier to find. Almost as easy to shoot my ar-15 due to the ease of finding the ammo
