The Future of Battle Sights
Due to the changing landscape of modern warfare towards urban environments,it means that fighting technology of yesteryear must change as well. And while I still like piggybacking red dot sights on top of fixed power sights or utilizing offset iron sights with a variable power scope- the folks at Leupold have come up with something even better....
Leupold's D-EVO and LCO and red dot combo is the fastest way hands down to go from a target at distance to one up close. There simply isn't anything else on the market that is like this setup.
In case you didn't know, the D-EVO is a fixed 6 power optic that through some engineering wizardry, has the objective lens just offset of the exit pupil (where you look through it). This allows the user (hopefully you)to mount their LCO red dot sight directly in front of the D-EVO. What you're left with in you field of view with your rifle shouldered is your fixed 6x magnification on the bottom and your 1x red dot video in the top portion of your view.
To help you better draw a picture in your head, imagine looking at a circle slightly larger than a golf ball. Now draw a line horizontally across the middle of that circle. In each of those "quadrants" there's a different sight picture. In the top portion is an unmagnified 1 MOA red dot sight. On the bottom portion you have a fixed 6x magnification with Leupold's stellar CMR-W reticle with bullet holdovers out to 600ish.
While it may sound semi confusing, using this setup is plain and simple...

The best site system in the world. This is the most perfect setting system in the world for long medium range shooting and I would recommend it for anyone for their AR or an again for that matter it is quality at its best and anyone interested in shooting should buy this optic

Great Short & Medium Range Acquisition
This combination of optics is fantastic for both close and medium range targets. Its perfect for the AR15 that is good out to several hundred yards and perfect for conditions when you need to scan quickly, then pinpoint the target. Its well made with the quality you expect in Leupold.

Devo setup with lco is amazing
Love this product. It allows you to track moving stuff far off with the red dot and glance down and be 8x in. Been to the range three trips now and is a breeze moving from 25 yards to 300, keeps it quick. Super clean optics. Just solid.

Rifle scope with red dot
I collect guns and this is one of the best optics I've ever purchased in my life I have it on a Daniel defense A.R. 15 and it is an excellent optic the red dot is clear and the six times magnification makes it easy to make those launch shots I would recommend this product to anybody interested in this combination optic for their AR 15 or AR 10 or Or on any rifle for that matter
