Leupold dual dovetail
You really need to have either the Leupold scope wrench or a 1" dowel to twist the rings onto the base. Once you have it set up, you have a high quality solid mount!!!

Excellent quality, no surprises here as it is Leupold ! If any complaint it would be to length. The mount is basically the length of the frame which limits you to a relatively short area for mounting the scope. If it were a little longer like some of the other mounts available you would have the ability to mount the scope a little further forward. The dovetail rings are absolutely solid. Made from honest to god steel both mounts and rings no concern of movement or warping here.

Leupold bases and rings for 34 cm tube scope

The problems with Optics Planet
The shipping from Optics Planet was the slowest that I can remember. I had the scope purchased from another seller a week before I received the bases and rings. I had to wait to install the scope.

Dual dove tail rings and bases
This was literally a game changer in my long range set up.i had a 20moa picatiny rail and weaver style rings on my rifle, but couldn't get my scope sighted in the way I like it, but the leupold dual dove tail setup cured my problem.
Pros:
- Fixed all my problems and looked extremely clean

- Doesn't come with a single base for the Howa 1500, had to use a rem700 dual base set up, but it did fix my problem

lifelong sportsman
Wanted to say a few words on the double dove tail bases and 30mm leopold rings I just installed on my new 700 remington 6.5 heavy barrel creedmoor. They are so sleek looking, installed perfectly and look to be a very stable mount for my 6.5x20 leopold scope. Also purchased a oryx chassis stock for this build and wow what a great looking rifle!!! Cant wait to get out and put a few rounds through it to see it personally!!
