I would highly recommend this scope to anyone. It is a tough accurate scope that will last a life time. Easy to use and I have never had a problem using it. The price is high, however, in my opinion it is worth it.

Purchased for use on M4.
True to Leupold standards for optical quality, but is expensive and heavy. Unfortunately, it under performs as a tactical scope, both for CQB and longer range shooting ... & I REALLY wanted to like this scope.
- The eye relief has very little margin, about 1 3/4" to 2", so it sits at the back of the upper rail eliminating any iron back-up.
- Because of the short and limited eye relief it is difficult to use as a holographic red dot in CQB. Viewing with both eyes open is not comfortable and FOV is limited by a scope length tube
- Due to only 3x magnification it has limited effectiveness as long range scope
- I ended up adding a mini-red dot, which would not mount on the short top rail space of the scope. Defeats the purpose of the "tactical" scope
- This is beautiful glass but I really can't find a use for it. For your money the Trijicon TA31 blows it away, has 4x magnification, works magnitudes better as an assault rifle scope. Maybe I can make a swap
Pros: 1) RUGGED! 2) compact body 3) works without batteries (non-illumination) 4) fantastic clarity 5) good night vision settings 6) mates up well with NVS Optics 6) good performance in varied lighting conditions
Cons: 1) EYE RELIEF!!! 2) maximum 3x magnification 3) limited utility of rails 4) on/illumination level switch difficult to operate 5) mounting device not adjustable 6) no killflash

Amazing optic. Survived 2 deployments and the variable magnification made it better to use the the Acog. Also links up with night vision better then the Acog. Pricey but you get what you pay for, quality!!
Pros: Comes with rail mount
Cons: Battery sleeve

My first dive into electronics, old school demands function without relying on batteries or lighting. This beast runs like a tank. I don't worry about scrapes and a pretty finish. This is about function. Clear glass in varied light. Haven't seen this in snow but am not worried. I love this for my stag 3g.
Pros: rugged, clear glass, ease of use and to mount, Made for USA
Cons: eye relief needs about 1/2 inch

The Leupold CQT works on multiple weapon platforms. Very bright optics. I especially like the illuminated circle dot reticle.
Pros: Clear, bright optics

This is the nicest scope I will probably every own. It is a very well made and functional scope. It has a reticle that can be used without the lighted function and with the lighting, it has settings that can even be used for NV gear. It also has a battery check feature, something not found on a lot of scopes. Scope lens covers are included. Don't trust the mount given with the scope unless you use Loctite blue on the screws!
Pros: Great Gloves for warmth, trigger finger still fits firearms!
Cons: none
