I agonized for a while before buying this lever but finally succumbed. I spent many years as a precision machinist and know the economics involved but it still seems pricey. It is nevertheless an extremely well made and fitted part that adds a final touch to a very expensive scope. It's a fact of life that a reliable variable power scope will require effort to change power. This is an elegant solution that compliments the best tactical scope on the market. It would have been nice for it to be standard equipment but that would still cost. I guess that anyone shooting at this level long ago realized there's no such thing as free lunch.

These aren't everyday throw levers
It was hard to pay this kind of money for a throw lever and I wondered if I'd made a mistake.
But when I got it I realized there was a good reason for the price. These things are precisely machined for a Mark 6 and fit like no throw lever I've ever seen. They feel like they're part of the scope.
I have a 1-6 and they make the power adjustments smooth and easy. And the lever is just the right length and shape. Highly recommended.
