Close but no cigar
The product itself was as good as it can be, but in my particular situation it didn’t work out, due to trying to mount a scope on a 40+ year old rifle. They fit on the rifle perfectly, it the rings were too far apart. The OP tech team was able to find a workable solution tho.

Leupold mounts
Another great product by leupold.All Leupold items are excellent. Perfect fitment of scope mounts. With just a little thread locker on the screw and it's good to go. I highly recommend Leupold products. Time to hit the range soon.

Precision fit
These are the best base scope mounts I have ever used. It fit the rifle perfectly and the scope rings and scope went on very easily. I had to grind down the front screw by about 3/32 to fit the fron hole of my remington 700 muzzle loader but Once the scope was mounted i hit the 50 yard target dead on bulls eye on the first shot. Leupold makes excellent products and best of all I am glad that it is American made.

This base is very solid. Very well constructed and easy to install. I originally wanted to get the single piece base but I have a Remington 700 Long Range in 30-06 which is a long action so the single-piece base did not work.

Fantastic Machining
I have used several sets of these as I have converted all my rifles to this mount. They are machined solid steel and finished very good. They do not hang out into the action like the old mounts use to. The slots match the ring axles perfectly and with precision.
