Leupold Rifleman QDManager 3-9x40mm Riflescope
The Leupold entry level Rifleman scope line has an excellent quality to expense ratio. It is, perhaps, the best value in the market. Have used Zeiss, Leupold-Stevens, Sheperd, Burris, Swarovski, Weaver and other mid range to high end optics. There are clearer, better, more job specific optics available but I've seen none at this price point.
Light transmission is good for all practical hunting and casual target shooting applications. As with all variable power optics, light transmission is best at lower power settings.
The "Rifleman Ballistics Reticle (RBR)" dots aid in assessing point...

one of the best i ever had
I mounted this on my muzzleloader. I sighted it in just once and hadn't had to touch it since I even bump it from time to time, I always have to shot to make sure it's still on the money and it always is,,, thanks optics planet for such a good price and fast shipping

Awesome scope for those on a budget like me!
This is the second Leupold Rifleman scope I have purchased from O.P. and I am thoroughly satisfied with the performance of the scope, and how fast and professionally packaged my order was. I love the RBR Reticle on this scope. Recently I purchased an old Winchester Model 70 in the rare .225 caliber, and this rifle shoots great. With the old factory ammo I was able to obtain (over 30 years old) the rifle performed well at about 1" high at 100 yards, 1.25" low at 200, and dead on (perfect elevation, a 6" 3 shot group) at 300 on the first reticle dot. Once I shoot up this old factory ammo and get some customized handloads put together, this grouping will get a lot better. The first Rifleman scope I purchased went on a Ruger American .243 and it holds it's zero fine. So now I can load the .225 for varmints, and use the .243 for deer. You never know, I may buy another rifle down the road, maybe a bigger caliber, if I find the right gun for the right price. That I am not sure of, but if it happens one thing is for sure, it will have a Leupold on it and it will be purchased from O.P.!
Pros:
- quality with a lifetime guarantee
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- mounting on a rifle with dual dovetail system

Excellent Basic 3-9 scope
This is a surprisingly affordable scope. When you look the first time it appears to reach out and be brighter than the view with the naked eye. Adjustments were easy and accurate. Pair this scope with the Leupold AR mount and you have a great package!!

Great Scope
This is a great scope for the money. Would highly recommend. I mounted this scope on a Kimber .308, using 125 grain Nosler ballistic tips. One inch high at 100yds, the RBS works great, dead on at 300yds then again at 500yds.

Great Scope
This scope is a great product. It is very clear built with proven Leupold quality. I can't wait to use it this fall. For the money you can't beat it. I have tried many other name brand rifle scopes but have never been more satisfied than I am with this one. If you are looking for a new scope I would definitely give this one a try.
