Most Helpful Positive Review Bright Scope for long distance shooting
You will love the quality and clarity of this scope. Do yourself a favor, though, and order it with front and back flip up covers to keep the optics safe and clean. Pros: Very bright image, crystal clear Cons: Does not come with lens covers

I bought this since I had, and liked, a side-focus Leupold. This 'masterpiece' of American manufacture is made cheaply without a focus option and is "factory set" at 125-feet. Nice of Leupold to know at what range I am shooting at! I get focus even with a $50 Chinese special. After time to mount...

Awesome scope and great clarity at dusk. Seems to be well built and short to fit youth model rifles good. The fire dot really dims down to as to not leave any glare in the scope that blur out what you’re aiming at.

Perfect match for my Henry 45/70. I am very pleased with the clarity and quality of this scope. As a long time user of Leupold products, I would highly recommend this product for someone who is looking for a high quality hunting scope.

Excellent scope for the money

I haven't used those scope much past sighting it in and a few 100yd shots. But the quality it what you'd expect from Leupold. The firedot reticle is exactly what I was looking for for this scopes use. (Predator rifle). I would really really prefer a dial knob to turn on and adjust the red dot, instead of the push button. But for the price, it's still great. I would definitely recommend.

Leupold vxr

Very good , on par with my nightforce NXS and my Swfa , I’m very pleased with it , very clear and very bright , and the red dot goes so low in brightness that it’s perfect for pig hunting which is what I do , you get what you pay for

Leupold VXR

The glass is of typical Leupold quality and the magnification range and objective diameter is perfect for most hunting situations. My only complaint is the method to turn the illuminated reticle on/off and progressing up or down the intensity level. I am not a fan of pushing the button multiple times and would prefer a dial that allows for an "off" indent between each brightness level.

Beautiful View

First, I haven't been able to get to the range to sight it in, but view looks totally amazing. The scope rests on a DNZ one piece mount (got at the same time, THAT is the coolest mount ever!) atop my Remington 700 SPS Tactical in .308/7.62. My eyes aren't the best any more, so my friend recommended I get the 30mm tube with the 50mm objective to bring in a bit more light and give me a little extra time in the field. I'm really impressed with that! (Thanks Bud!!) Light enough to use up until the end of legal shooting time won't be an issue now, and the eye relief is amazing! No more worries about getting too close to the scope and 'wearing' it. I have a couple of quality scopes, but if this is an example of what Leupold brings to the table, there will be a lot of scopes being replaced as quickly as I can afford to buy more Gold Rings.

absolutely amazing

I can't say enough about this scope. Clear and bright glass and the lighted 3 dot reticle is as sharp as can be. Had my 450 Bushmaster zeroed in within 7 shots. The auto shut off feature for the reticle has already saved me twice.

vxr 3-9x50 firedot plex

Solid feel.Compact 12.5 inch long.Illuminated reticule is fine to me.Does non try to zero yet.
The only reason I am giving a 4 stars is coming without any lens covers. Leopold at lest put a bikini covers for that price....

Great Scope

I have tried numerous different scopes for low light and I would bet that you cannot find a better one for the price. Super clear and bright right when you need it. Had one on my TC Encore Muzzleloader and now just purchased one for my Remington 700.
