What can I say, it's a Leupold. Great quality and durable. High quality and very easy to use. I am very impressed with the focusing on this rangefinder compared to other ones that I have used. You will be pleased with this one and for the price it is the best.

What can I say; The DLF is simply a work of electronic art. It is accurate reliable and simply a pleasure to use.
I am prompted to add more to my report, but I would rther keep it just simple. This product is useful, accurate.... you can bet your life on it!

A definite improvement for me. Smaller, lighter, 6x power, easier to use, and easier to read. Combine that with a superb sale price from Optics Planet and it was a win-win-win for me. I use it for hunting - everything from whitetails from treestands in Pennsylvania to everything in out west, to big animals in Canada, and exotics overseas. I will likely use it for golf as well.
Pros:
- light weight
- easy to use
- smaller and more compact
- 6x power

Awesome rangefinder. Crazy fast readings and extremely repeatable. Great performance in brush and low light. TBR settings and ballistic group offerings could be a little broader. The majority of people probably are not zeroing their rifles at 200 or 300 yards. This makes the TBR mode unusable to the majority of rifle hunters. Even without the TBR feature this rangefinder is still the best bang for your buck. At under $400, you will not find a more user friendly range finder on the market today.

I'm a low income hunter/shooter, so, when is time to buy some new tool I do some research before, I found that optics planet offer me the best deal. Leupold RX-1200i TBR/W with DNA Laser Rangefinder is just perfect if you are a serious shooter/hunter, the clarity of view is I will said 6 times better that my plain eyes and I'm not talking about the magnification, in low light conditions before sunrise you see perfectly clear views, and the range finder is just as specified or better. You can buy the VORTEX for less but I will say you get for what you pay and I like to pay just one time and get what I need or more.
Pros:
- Clarity
- easy to use
- conpact
- 1200 yard range

My son absconded with my first Leupold rangefinder which is the only reason I had to buy another. Both are topnotch and give fast and easy distance to target data. I don't need all the features (as far as I know now) that this RX-1200 TBR with DNA offers. But what I do use...straight ranging, works so well. I have a friend who uses a different brand and the Leupold beats the other one hands down, primarily in ease of locking a target acquisition.
The only downside is this new rangefinder is made in China! I know I'm a dinosaur and always thought at least Leupold products are still made in the USA but alas...
Pros:
- Good design
- Ergonomic Armor Coating
- Excellent performance

I have been ranging targets from 40-800 yards with no issue. The rangefinder is nice and small, works well and the reticle is very easy to see. The only downside to the rangefinder is the eye relief with glasses on. I have to press the rangefinder into my glasses to get a really nice site picture with the rangefinder.

I had my eye on the Sig Sauer Kilo 2000 but a friend suggested the Leupold at lesser price. Laid my hands on one to test out and liked the reticle design (with the option to switch reticles) over the Sig. I also like the fact of the internal ballistics and wind drift, although very crude if hand loading. So, I bought one. Testing it out on a shooting trip to the N. Georgia mountains in which my max range is 450 yards, I found the ballistics to only be off my drop chart by only .1 to .3 MOA. The method of finding your ballistics in the manual is a good starting point but I went through the ballistic options until I found one that best matched my drop chart.
I then took it to the coast where I do sea kayak shooting trips. I wanted to see what my range would be in an environment where there is only marsh grass, trees and shell covered beach. I was surprised to get ranges out to 1300 and 1400 yards on trees, 945 on marsh grass and 1100 on a sand bar. But, here is the rub, it took quite some time to get those hits on the finder and the sun has to be low on the horizon with the trees being very well lit. AND, the finder MUST be held very steady. Many times I used another tree to brace on to hold the finder steady. Even using the hand rail on a dock at one point.
I was also able to get ranges off trees and a shaded cliff bank at 1050 yards very quickly and just holding the range finder in the normal fashion.
For the longer ranges the range finder has to be in scan mode, holding ...
