Nothing wrong with the sunshade, fit perfectly on my Leupold Mark 4. There was a tiny scuff on one thread. It was easily fixed with a little Birchwood-casey Aluminum Black. Just don't use the pen type, it will not say on. Go with the blue bottle, and follow the directions to the letter. I just had a minor anodizing spot that was on one thread from packaging. (Not Optics Planet's fault) They screw in fine just don't over tighten. They work great! I highly recommend you contact Leopold for the correct item # for your model of scope.
