Product description in the catalog was very limited as well as the selection in the scope mount screw box. I was expecting a little more variety. Plastic box with the compartments is nice and sturdy I just wish there were more I have an assortment of screws in this kit.

Nice to have these on hand for those times when you lose a scope ring screw - or strip one. Also, if you switch a scope from one rifle to another rather than use the same screws (may look a little chewed up) you can install a new set.
Hopefully Leupold procured screws made to tight tolerances from good steel, and not the Chinese junk that is most frequently sold online - and your local hardware store.
My only gripe about this set is that it has both stainless and blued screws. I have no stainless rings or bases and don't expect to ever use them, so these will either go unused, or I could go for the two tone look !
If I use only the blue screws and discard the stainless then I am working out to about 50 cents per screw - I've paid more for less.
Pros:
- Leupold Quality
- There when you need one
Cons:
- Not cheap
- Would have preferred more blue and less stainless
Best Used for:
- Leupold Rings n Bases
- Other rings and bases with same threads as Leupol

If you work on your rifles and mount your own scopes, then this screw kit is a must! The Leupold Torx head screws in my opinion are the best out there and from a trusted company that is made in the USA !

I have multiple Leupold rifle scopes, most I bought new but some were used and had missing screws. Also, sometimes screws get damaged or you drop one of the little guys and cannot find it. Having a supply like this available can be a Godsend. The assortment includes both matte black and silver colored screws though if you had to you could use mismatched ones and they would not be very noticeable. Price is very reasonable to have on hand should you find you need o ne of these screws.

If you do any gunsmithing at all, you know how those little torx screws can grow legs. Also handy for when that buddy stops over without his own stuff too.....
Pros: variety, compact, blued and silver, good back-ups
Cons: none

While this item is not really the most difficult and has no setup requirements as such, it has been put together with the most common and desirable screw sizes to aide in almost any repair to scope mounts.
Pros: Variaty that meets most of the routine demands arising from tasks such as mounting bases and/or repairs to bases for scopes etc., etc.
Cons: None
