Leupold Rimfire Scope
I have many .22 firearms and all of them have leupold glass on them. This scope is excellent on classic styled firearms like the CZ452, Savage Classis, Kimber or Coopers and any other quality rimfire. I have both Gloss and matte finish scopes, The finish, clarity of glass, ease of mounting etc and t...

Leupold VX-I vs. Nikon Prostaff Rimfire
I have the Leupold VX-I 2-7X28 and the Nikon Prostaff Rimfire 3-9X40. I prefer the glass (slightly) and the compactness on the Leupold. I (much) prefer the user interfaces, ie focusing, power adjustment, windage and elevation adjustment, on the Nikon. The Nikon is also less expensive. If you buy the...

Great price and on time
This scope was just right for the 22 LR I mounted it on. Ordering was easy and it came as shown and new in box. It didn't take long to arrive and no damage at all. Reticle is crisp and glass is clear.

Excellent, as expected.
This is my 6th scope from Leupold. Great brand who makes a clear and quality scope for not too much of a hit to your bank account. But they do have the option if you want a top quality one. This little rimfire scope is no different. Very lightweight, very clear glass and feels as durable as my higher quality ones. Did I mention it's little? I bought it for my 10/22 takedown and it fits it nicely. Was easy to zero in and I will be looking forward to using it for squirrel and rabbit early next year when I am out camping! If anything happens to the scope while I am out camping, Leupold has a great warranty to cover that, too. For life.

Great choice for rimfire weapons.
This scope was put on a Remington Speedmaster and the choice was perfect. It's light enough and trim enough to not encumber the weapon. The 7 power is plenty for the distances I use a .22 and the 2 power is great for fast shooting. It's a Leopold so it's clear and sharp. I'd recommend it highly.
Pros:
- Light, sharp, and trim
Cons:
- Less expensive rimfire scopes are available - but not for this quality
Best Used for:
- Small game hunting and plinking.

Nice little scope
Got it for the old man for Christmas for his 10/22 breakdown he likes it and its short. Pay for the name an quality bought a bushnell 4x and a Nikon 3x9 both cheaper and glass just as clear. Would recommend this but the other 2 are way cheaper and for popping targets on a weekend use the extra money for ammo.
Pros:
- Clear
Cons:
- price
Best Used for:
- plinking
Would recommend: Yes
Bright and clear
I copmared this with similar Vortex and Nikon scopes. The Leupold is significantly brighter sharper smaller and lighter. The pincushion effect is much better, giving the image a much flatter appearance.

Nice scope
This is a really nice rimfire scope that has the classic look perfect for my Browning SA22. After mounting it as quickly sighted in and the image is clear and crisp ........................................
Pros:
- Classic styling clear image
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- rimfire rifles
Would recommend: Yes
Great rimfire scope
Only had this scope for a little while. Good clear glass, precise adjustments, and magnification is good. It proved to be a great scope for the Ruger 77/22 that I mounted it on. I will definitely put this same scope on any more rimfire rifles I get in the future. A added bonus is it's made in the USA. Leupold products are as good as you can get.
Best Used for:
- Rimfire hunting and target shooting
Would recommend: Yes
Nice compact scope
This scope mounted on a 10/22 with Leupold low prw rings is just about perfect. Light weight, bright/clear glass, smooth magnification control and compact form factor make this the ideal rimfire scope. Only negatives are slightly mushy elevation/windage adjustments.
Pros:
- Quality compact scope
Cons:
- mushy clicks
Best Used for:
- .22 rimfire rifles
Would recommend: Yes
Typical Leupold
I mounted this on an old Anschutz Model 1450 .22 LR rifle that I did not want to scope given its light weight and handiness. However, I made it my squirrel rifle thus it demanded a scope. This scope's compact size and light weight made a barely noticeable difference in the balance of the rifle and an immeasurable improvement in the sight picture. The fine duplex reticle is perfect for small game or target work. I used BKL Technologies BKL-257 MB mounts to great effect.

Great Scope, Great Price
You can't get much better than Leupold when it comes to scopes. I put this on a Ruger 10/22. I wanted a rimfire specific scope for this rifle. 2-7 is perfect for a .22. This scope is built like a tank and easy to operate. It looks great too! A few reasons it got 4 out of 5 stars. The adjustment tourets dont really give you that positive click sounds or feel while you're making your a corrections. Its kind of sloppy. The bikini lense cover is kind of crappy too. Kind of a pain in the butt to put on and take off. But other than that, it's a great, little scope. I'd buy it again. Optics Planet customer service was great and very quick to answer all of my questions. A+++
