VX-III 3.5-10 X 40mm, Boone and Crocket Reticle
After 35 years of hunting with standard Duplex Reticles I decided to try the VX-III 3.5-10 40mm Boone and Crocket Reticle. It is very easy to setup and really boost your confidence on those long range shots.

I have looked at this scope since introduced by Leupold. Also, read the reviews. So product as expected. Leupold quality is consistent. A CON: might have been price and rating for value for money would have been lower had it not been for the great deal at Optics Planet. Received a great scope at a reasonable price (when considering all high-priced rifle scopes).

My Favorite
Comparing this with comparable offerings from Burris, Zeiss, and Nikon, the Leupold provides the best bang for the buck. Coatings provide light gathering capabilities of scopes costing $200 - $300 more, and the Leupold is as rugged as they come. At 3.5 to 10x, this scope meets my needs for all hunting situations from 50 meters to 500 meters.
A final note: Both Optics Planet and Leupold provide great customer service.
