I purchased this scope for use on my new Winchester Super X3 Cantilever Buck 20 ga. Rifles are forbidden in the New York zone I'm hunting in. Really looking forward to putting this combo to use. The scope fits nicely on the gun and is perfect for the range I use. (I won't take a shot longer than 100 yards.) Optics are excellent. Simple to adjust. Great scope for the money.

I chose this over other leupold scopes that are listed as 1.25-whatever and bought this some for the distinct purpose of being able to use it magnified or unmagnified but on the lowest setting, 1, objects appear about twice their actual size every thing else about the scope was as expected but if they are going to advertise this scope as 1-4 the 1 should really be 1. I am extremely disappointed.

Haven’t used it yet, but it fits the bill for what I wanted - a low profile point and shoot scope. I actually had a hard time finding a quality scope with this design which seems old school nowadays. I mounted one on my 12 ga slug gun and one on a 243 for my 12 year who just getting started.

Clear, simple and light. This scope is perfect for a run-and-gun rig; where less equipment is more. It let's me pick out the turkey in cover and find him at distance if needed. Doesn't add much weight and is Leupold tough. With and unloaded gun, I can use it to look for birds roosted at distance and don't need to carry binoculars or range finder.

This scope is crystal clear and is perfectly suited to just about anything 100 yds or under. I have this on a Saiga 7.62x39 (AK), and it is the perfect optic for this setup. I got it with the turkey-plex reticle because it allows for quick target acquisition.

I mounted it on a Rem 1187 for my Grandson to hunt Turkeys. He shot his first Tukey with it but I used it also. It is super clear and with the circle you can't miss. I'm having a hard time seeing the sights on the shotgun now with age. This really solved the problem. If your getting old like me and are having a hard time seeing your sights then this is the scope to buy for your Turkey gun or for a young new hunter. Make sure you don't crowd the scope, you wil get a good bump if you do

I own several Leupold optics going all the way back to 1989 when I mounted a 2-7 on my bar 3006.Still as clear as the day I bought it.When I'm shopping for optics I don't even look at any others. You just can't go wrong with Leopold, lifetime guarantee whether you bought it or not. And best of all it's made right here in the good old USA.

I recently bought a Winchester safari express 458 win mag .. I want a 1x4 scope but
didn't want to spend a lot .. I saw the Leupold shotgun scope and thought that would
be just what I needed for $179
I installed the scope and fired a lot of rounds at a friends farm
the scope seems to be holding up well, even better then my shoulder haha

I have owned many scopes over a lifetime of hunting adventures but have preferred receiver sights. I basically hunt in heavy cover here in Maine. Last fall I noticed I had increasing difficulty in the poor light of late afternoon in the deep woods and decided to scope my old 336 Marlin. This Leupold works so well I am really looking forward to waiting out those crafty older bucks this fall!

Great optic for the price. The turkey plex is an all around great reticle for an AR or hunting rifle. Very light. Low profile. Very positive turret adjustments (MOA). Glass is very good for the price. Some distortion will distract serious (ex, three gun) shooters but is perfect for the average rifleman. Much clearer, brighter, and less distortion than the comparable Vortex which I replaced. It is not nearly a true 1x. But for this price that's expected. I love Leupold scopes and OP (thanks for the sale and coupon)!
