No detailed info on mechanism or materials leaves me with an uncomfortable feeing
The lack of information or clear photos gives me NO confidence. What is the locking mechanism? Why is there only a single hinge in the wrong place? What materials are used? What is the warranty? What substance is included in the fold down trry to keep contents stable, and secure once the mechanism is released?
Folks this item may be called upon in an emergency to save your life. The Manufacture speaks loudly by NOT providing important information on this product.
This shows little regard for my safety - I have n confidence in this product, therefore I MUST say No Thank you.
Do not buy this unless you need a new target stand
Came with two wood screws to tie into the wall. Knowing it would not be enough, went and bought four lolly bolts. With nothing in the shelf, the backside sagged and gave out. There were no installation instructions.
Pros:
- Could use it for outdoor firewood.
Cons:
- Advertising of the product, horrible.
Best Used for:
- Throwing it at a home intruder as I run to get my weapon.

Nice looking shelf when close
It looks nice but in an emergency it’s useless. It needs batteries. If the batteries are nit at full strength then the magnet will not open. Even if the batteries are good the mechanical part can get stuck. They say if it gets stuck wiggle the door. But that is useless in an emergency. So if you want a nice looking shelf then go for it but in a emergency do t count on getting tour weapon out
