Lock gets stuck - Lockdown SuperMax Ready Vault

Have had the vault for just over a month and the lock jams or gets stuck almost every time when I enter the code and try to open it. The latch that keeps it locked rubs and does not fully open when I turn the switch, it gets about half way and stops, but not far enough to open. I really like the design and prefer the mechanical locks over electronic, but this one is not working well.
