Legacy Reviewer's Review of Lucid Optics Advantage 6-24x50 Rifle Scope

I was looking for a good medium to long range scope for my AR-10, and was ready to spend around $1,000. I have some great German and US glass and had previously only used Leupold, Zeiss, Trijicon and US Optics.
While I realized that this $400 scope would not take the place of the $1,500-2,500 glass, since I had previously been amazed by their $200 HD-7 Red dot I threw on my Kriss Vector, so I figured I would give this a try. Well, I sighted it in at 100 yards in about 5 minutes, and have used it for 3 months now at up to 450 yards with amazing repeatability, very good clarity and brightness.
My AR fell over on concrete, scope side down, but other than a minor scratch, nothing was affected.
So, in summary, I would simply say that if this company has something that fits your budget and requirements, please give it a try. I would recommend looking for a longer, in-depth review if you want more info, but on a high level, I would simply say that Lucid is trying to give 95% of the quality of the best scopes at about 30% of the price.
The only things I cannot yet speak for are (1) how well it will last, and (2) if it will stay sighted in for periods longer than the several months of use I have used it for so far.
Pros: quality of glass, stability and repeatability
Cons: new to market
