Good Intermediate Range Scope
Mounted on a Ruger SR762 with a set of six fastener Burris Extream Tactical mounts. Eye relief is excellent for this application. The magnification is perfect for the ~600 yd shot. Lense quality is good and allows crystal clear sight with full magification. The reticle is awesome. The lift to adjust...

Not Practical
After using this scope to shoot from 100 to 600 yards at length I have determined it is not a practical scope to have and use at longer ranges from 400 to 600 yards. The optics are clear, the moa reticle tape is very nice easy to see the steel plates through the hash mark lines/tick marks/dots. I ...

Tell you a secret about this scope
I'll tell you a secret about this scope. I've been reading some of the reviews of previous posts and later posts. I'm gathering that users are only ranging 400 to six hundred yards. Well i am here to tell you that you have just started to find the lower end of this scope. I have this scope on nine rifles now and just start ranging at 400 yards minimum and with ease go out to 1200. And now for the secret its called Stelok+. If you dial in your gun, this scope, your round to this program you will enjoy and appreciate this scope alot more. And find yourself a better shooter. And you will then appreciate the quality and price of this scope. I zero at 14.5 magnification and use the Strelok+ from there. Lower magnification will increase your distance as you will see by Strelok+s ballistics. I usually stay on 14.5 magnification out to 1200 yards with great clarity with this scope. You also can compensate your windage with the Strelok+ program. Hope this will help understand this scope better and have as much fun with it as it has for me.
Pros:
- Still one the best scopes for the money
- Easy to use with Strelok+
Cons:
- Still haven't found any
Best Used for:
- Long range shooting, Hunting
- Not emptying your wallet
Would recommend: Yes

Great Glass for the money
I own 5 of theses optics and the quality is comparable to higher end manufacturers. I have had more expensive optics that I can not see as well through. For the money I would recommend Lucid optics products to anyone. I also personally have been to Lucid s long range class and am a member of their 1760 club. If you have the opportunity to do so it will help you use your scope correctly.
Pros:
- Great glass for $350.
Cons:
- Have found no cons yet
Best Used for:
- Long range shooting
- Hungting
Would recommend: Yes
Excellent scope for the reasonable budget
I bought this to turn my Remington 700 PSS into a serious long range shooter (or attempt to.) I can say the clarity of the scope is equal to several I’ve looked at that cost significantly more. The scope itself has proven rugged, and I’ve put a substantial amount of ammunition through my 700 in the process. I can pie plate rounds with relative ease up to about 800 yds, and to be clear, the limiting factor has been my ability to find a long range shooting range I can access. Lots of restrictions around where I live. I want to push the gun and myself out to 1500 yds, but just don’t have a place I can do that yet. One item that’s a bit of a gripe is the adjustments. They are quite stiff, and I thought they might ease up a bit after some use, but not yet. Haven’t had a need to talk to the service department more than once... I just had a couple of questions, and I found them very helpful and responsive. A characteristic not readily found these days.
Pros:
- Clear solid optics, reasonably priced
Cons:
- Some stiffness in adjustments, fairly minor
Best Used for:
- 200+ yard shooting

Update post from May 6, 2016
This is an update to my post dated May 6, 2016, titled "so Much for QC"
After a few emails back and forth, I sent the scope back to Lucid, they agreed with the dots and sent me
a new replacement scope the very next day.
GREAT service.

So much for QC
Purchased this scope beginning of March 2016.
Just now had a chance to mount it.
Found black spots inside about the 2 o'clock position
Cleaned the lenses over and over, it is inside.
Makes me think if QC missed that, what else

Lucid scopes are great.
For a cpmbination of quality and price, these scopes are hard to beat. They work well in a lot of situations and are very dependable. I have not used the dial to shoot long distances yet but i will be working with it shortly.

Long range
I like the scope and have shone all my coworkers they like it to. We have a pine tree at the shop at 800 Yards you could shoot a deer at its base very easily. My son and I have been practicing at 800. He was hitting steel with a borrowed 30-06 Springfield that had been sporterized not bad for a first time out also it had a 3-9 Tasco! The friends with us called that some really good SWAG. Now I'm waiting for fire season to break so we can go again. Thanks for a great scope CHAGA!

Lucid 4-16x
I bought this for a PCP airgun, and found a few traits about it making it great for an airgun. It can focus parallax down to less than 10 yards, despite saying 15 yards in the product write up. It is short and has good eye relief, helping with scope placement. It is very clear, given the price. It is lower profile, rather than having adjustment knobs that stick up or out far away. It has 1/8" clicks, and is easily resettable. The scope is heavier than the Bushnell 2.5-16x, which is the scope I compared it to, but not enough to detract from choosing it. I like the reticle more than any fancy reticle, and it as good as a standard mil dot. The center dot is very small, and does not cover the target up, even if you are shooting at a tiny bullseye. The front objective lens is not too large. Although the larger 50 and 56mm objective lens have larger field of views, these scopes tend to be heavier, and are bulky. The power ring, and parallax adjustment knobs move smoothly. The clicks are good. The only faults are that it did not come with a sunshade, and it a little heavier that the Bushnell. I would own another.
