If green is the color you're wanting, then these are decent. But they're not perfect. I was somewhat disappointed in them when i unwrapped them. They have a poor gap at the rear and front of the halves, but once they're installed, that gap is closed and uniform all the way down the full length of the two halves. But then there's the issue of the area where the two halves meet being a little less smooth than a good set of USGI style would be. Ask me how i know. I also had to do some trimming of excess plastic along some of the edges where they came from the mold. The area that the delta ring holds them in place had to be filed on as well. That same area is slightly shorter than it should be also. I hade to file on this area because the delta ring wouldn't seat straight against the handguards. The delta ring was sitting at an angle. If you want black A2 rifle length handguards, don't get the Luth brand. H&R has the best one's. Or Colt. These don't look bad once they're touched up a bit,and installed though. And the heat shields have a black coating on them, instead of being the correct bare aluminum. But thats not a big deal to me. Just wanted to get that out there. By the length being slightly too short at the delta ring area,it does allow them to be removed by hand easier. But i cant help but wonder if the rifle was accidentally drop...
