Luth has upped their manufacturing, this newer model has the m4 feed ramps and is milled to spec, the barrel nut lines up perfect to the bolt (they had issues in the past) and all parts fit as expected. Seems fine

Seems fine but have not yet finished assembling the upper. Finish is acceptable. Note that the Luth ar a1 sight does not install well in this upper due to the out of spec leaf spring. You would think there wouldn't be a compatibility issue when using the same brand of parts.

C7 clone build

Wanted to build a clone of a colt 733. This was the exact upper I need to complete. The fit and finish was good. I can’t wait to complete the upper. These uppers are hard to find get them while you can.

poor quality

I ordered the Luth-Ar A1 style stripped upper for a retro build and wow, is there any quality control? The carry handle dimmensions look way off when looking down the rear sight because one side is super thin and the other side looks fine. Im no A1 style expert but im pretty sure they botched the carry handle. My othe problem is the rattle and gap between the upper and any lower you put it on (I tried 3 different ones). And lastly, the finish is not retro grey but something else that feels like medium grit sandpaper.
