Unlike some other drop-in trigger designs the Velocity trigger has set screws to remove slop between the trigger housing and the lower receiver. The break is light and crisp, and the reset is short and fast.

The worst part about this trigger is waiting for it to be in stock! No creep, subtle click at the break, no overtravel, and a quick reset. Comparing it to Rise Armament, POF, CMC, and TriggerTech, if feels better than all but the TriggerTech, but that's with the TT set to break at 2.5 pounds. There is something intangible about the way this trigger is made that just makes it feel more refined and more mechanically precise than the others. Hard to explain. The only real con was adjusting the trigger retention set screws. On mine, you could barely snug them at all without causing interference that affected the safety selector. I ended up pulling the set screws out and using a spare set of anti-walk pins. Doing so allowed everything to function and pass safety checks without causing the safety selector to drag. Definitely worth the wait.
Pros:
- value
- Price
- performance
- feel
Cons:
- Set screws might not work depending on your tolerances
Best Used for:
- competition
- Targets
- Shooting faster than you did before

This is a nice trigger! I have it in a 308 and 556 build and works great. Nice crisp, light pull and reset, only trigger I prefer and recommend in my ar's. I also have some velocity trigger with the interchangeable shoes but I prefer this for the value and probably a little lighter if anyone is counting grams.

Both of mine have zero creep or takeup, a short overtravel and a positive but not as lound as a mil spec reset. There are many great AR triggers out there and this one is hard to beat for the money. You may have issues with steel cased primers or S&B primers. I havent shot either so idk.

A very nice single-stage trigger that feels light and crisp. Installed on an AR-15 and have had absolutely no problems. Very easy and quick to install. I will purchase more in the future. Has a little more travel to reset then my Trigger Tech trigger, but that one is also a two-stage trigger.
Pros:
- Top quality and well made

I own 2 of these now, and if I ever need another AR trigger, I’ll have a third. I’ve also owned Timney, RRA National Match, Larue, and Geissele. Velocity is my choice. Simple to install and worry free usage. The trigger shoe is smooth, comfortable and repeatable. Break is clean and sharp. To me, it’s a Timney that’s been anodized green instead of yellow, at nearly half the cost. Velocity actually goes a step further by trimming the hammer springs to facilitate easier set screw installation. Buy it now.
Pros:
- Quality
- performance
- bang for the buck
Best Used for:
- hunting
- target
- home defeanse

I did a lot of research before finally pulling the trigger - no pun - and I was finally between this and the cmc 3.5lb which I have used and definitely like and at the time they were both about the same price, although you can get the velocity a bit cheaper, there is absolutely no sloppiness, no over-travel, and the break is crisp and light with a very audible and tactile click for reset. The best part is the ease of installation, no fumbling with springs while trying to line up pins, very cool.
Pros:
- EASY INSTALL
- Crisp break
- made in America
- Very tactile reset
- Green is cool
