I'll start out and say that this stock works, and is fine if you're not picky. First off, the materials are good, and seems well constructed, and I like the way it looks. I thought it would be a bit shorter than a standard A2 stock, but it's really just about the same. But, it is a bit sloppy on the buffer tube. It does not sit flat on the receiver in the lug area, as it touches the buffer tube "flange" first when tightened down. You can see the gap between the stock and the receiver. The lug on the stock that mates with the hole in the receiver is slightly smaller, you can rotate it ever so slightly. One thing that is unusual in the installation directions, is that it states it uses a short A1 screw, but the screw that comes with the stock is the longer A2 screw that is normally used with the standard A2 spacer. Like I said, it works, but a cheap NBS A2 stock locks up super solid comparatively. Yeah, I'm just picky.

I have used several of these stocks. I really like the adjustablely and the weight. You can't go wrong using these products. I also have always gotten great service from optics planet. They ship quickly and pack products efficiently. I will continue to do business with them.

Easy install, and lightweight and sturdy. With the ability to add more features,it's a great option for long-range shooting.

Have the longer buffer tube on the receiver, and was having problems finding a stock that would fit. This one did perfectly. Light weight.

I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a sturdy and comfortable stock. It was very easy to install and took about 5 min. I liked how it came with the A2 buffer tube assembly, that I didn’t have to buy that separately. Overall great product.

This is my first foray into Luth-AR parts of any kind and I am overall impressed based on the price I paid. This is a very stout rifle stock and has a pretty good feel to it when shooting, and the A2 buffer kit that came with it is working very well. It was put on an 18" Rifle-Length GS chambered in .223 Wylde and the A2 buffer and spring that came with it had the action working very smoothly and ejection was perfectly timed (3-4 o'clock) which was a previous problem with this particular rifle.

Installation is fairly simple, but the instructions can be a bit confusing. The rubber buttpad in particular was a little odd to remove as it was seated very tight, as if it did not come off, but once it came off it went back on with no issues. Underneath the buttpad there is a screw sitting freely in a + shaped screw hole that installs into the tube once the stock is mounted to the tube and receiver, then the buttpad goes over that and then the two outer hex screws are reinstalled.

The Buttpad is very hard rubberized material (harder than Magpul materials), but on a .223/5.56, that shouldn't be an issue.

The LOP is perfect for my size 5'8", but for my father, who is 6'3", it feels a little short, and that is my biggest con as some people may not consider this. Since it is my rifle I won't knock it too much for that, but it is important to take note of. Keep that in mind because there is no adjustment on this model, if you want that feature, I believe the MBA-1 is what you seek, but...

First of all OP came through this time and redeemed themselves from my last couple orders. On to the product itself, it fits my Areo Precision M4E1 lower seamlessly. Once installed (MB2 version) has no wobble or shake and seems fairly well built. Overall the product installed easily, went together well, and has zero cosmetic flaws so I am very happy overall.

One negative to this stock is it’s LOP is pretty short, I’m not a big dude (6’1”) but maybe there is a way to add LOP to this stock I haven’t searched yet. If you are looking for a fixed stock, I believe this is a great budget option.

I purchased the Luth-Ar stock to complete the build for a 224 Valkyrie. I was looking for a fixed stock that was easy to put additions on and also would not break the bank. Great product, great service, stock works great and the rifle shoots like a dream.

Ordering and purchase of this stock was simple. It was a great price point and delivery happened right on schedule. I was totally pleased with my purchase and I can’t wait to install it on my rifle and feel the difference between it and the collapsing one currently on it.
