This thing is a work horse. Loaded it with walnut media and around 250 .223 brass and checked it a couple hours later. Nice clean brass.

Nice Tumbler

by Mike D, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on March 18, 2022
I've had a Lyman 1200 Pro for years, and decided to give this one a try. It is quieter than my old one. It hold a lot more than the 1200. There's not a problem emptying the container; you can take it off, or simply lift the whole thing and dump it.
Pros:
  • Quiet, large container.
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Reloads

This Tumbler holds a lot and is a lot quieter than I thought it would be. Very happy with the quality. It is great for cleaning and polishing. For best results the tumbler should be level. Very well built.
Pros:
  • Quiet large capacity
Cons:
  • none yet
Best Used for:
  • Cleaning polishing

Lyman 2500 Pro Magnum Tumbler

by MC, from CA, United States Written on July 13, 2016
The 2500 Pro Magnum gets the job done. The brass cleaned up really good plus it runs quiet. I like the ability to completely remove the bowl so I can dump out the media and shells. I am Happy and I would buy a second unit to give as a Gift.

Clean that brass

by Jurassicjim, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on February 28, 2015
This is the third one of the 2500s that I have purchased. I have also owned a 1200. I replaced a 2500 that failed after 15 years. The 1200 failed after over 20 years. I have another 2500 that I've owned for 5 years. I have owned 2 auto flows but they are a big mess and do not hold as much brass as the regular Pro. Also, the auto flow does not perform well when using dryer sheets to keep the media clean.

Good Tumbler, likes to "walk"

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on February 12, 2012
I use this on a completely level surface and it starts walking all over the place, had to block it off so it could not walk any further. Cleaned the brass very well using corn cob and is a good unit.
Pros: great results, easy to use
Cons: vibration causes it to walk
