I enjoy doing trigger upgrades on firearms that I own and the Lyman gauge has been awesome! To see the difference between OEM triggers and an upgraded trigger is pretty cool.

just what I needed. wish it had just a few more pounds capacity. but it does work accurately. I use it often. and between my spring analog versions its averages out perfectly. It agrees with both my analog spring trigger testers. good to have to test new triggers and the claims made by manufacturers. great for adjustable triggers to tune them in to get the lbs. wanted.

I purchases this to back up my spring type trigger weight scale. I do ten with spring scale and average. then ten with digital. and average. then average both. they are very close . be sure to use a trigger hand cartridge tester so you are not dry firing it in your lower. you can buy them at a few sights. I think Geissillee has them and Larue and others.if you dont have one just pad the face of your lower with close cell foam so hammee does not mash against front of pocket. don't test with upper installed. put lower in a sturdy vise block preferably an adjustable vise block that you can tighten inside mag well.Like Real Avid makes.

Quality built by Lyman at a competitive price from Optics Planet. Digital trigger pull gauge works great on Rifles or pistols. The gauge is easy to use with accurate readouts. I would recommend this product for anyone needing accurate trigger pull measurements.

The arm that extends from the gauge to the trigger is very flimsy and makes it difficult to pull consistently. Reading tend to very significantly from pull to pull!!! I have little confidence in the accuracy of this device!!!! POOR QUALITY!!!

Trigger pull is one of the items that effect accuracy, and is something that on most firearms can be adjusted. This gauge is very accurate and easy to use, and gives the user quantifiable readings on the adjustments made to the trigger.
Highly recommended!
Pros:
- Ease of use, readout accuracy
Cons:
- more expensive than competitors

This makes it so much easier for adjusting my rifle triggers. I used the non-digital gauge for a long time but I didn't know what I was missing. It grabs the trigger much better and is way more accurate.

I should have bought this one first. I bought a wheeling digital trigger gauge first.....it's ok but the down side is the price that makes contact with the trigger shoe does not work on every trigger. Mainly the trigger shoes that have a safety that has to be depressed. The Lyman digital gauge however works well with all trigger shoes so far.
Pros:
- Works well with all trigger shoes. Easy to use

I have found the Lyman Trigger Gauge to be a simple, repeatable tool for measuring trigger pull. I wish I had bought one a long time ago. It is good to have something like this when you are trying to set trigger pull to a standard.
