So this thing works great when its stuck to the target. its been hit a few times in the polymer reflector with no problems at all. extremely easy to see at 1000+ yards. problem was the velcro backing. a direct hit on the target on the opposite side of the velcro caused the velcro to detach from the target sending the light flying away. I managed to find the light and it was still working with no problems what so ever. I cleaned the target and applied the extra mount and velcro to the target. It worked well the next few times I took it out. Then once again a direct hit over the velcro section caused it to detach from the target. This time the velcro stayed on the target and the red mounting plate detached from the velcro. Once again the hit indicator survived being thrown by the swinging target. So only 3 stars cause it sucks when you have to go down range to find your target hit indicator and everyone else on the range is getting mad cause its taking you forever.

A very neat product that works as advertised. Great for the long range shooter. Keeps me from having to go down the thousand target all the time. I currently have two of these and at least two other shooters at the range have two or three.
We end up with lights at 700, 800, 900, 930 and sometimes 850 yards.
When we shoot you can dial up a bunch of solutions for different calibars at those distances and know your hits.
Would be hard to know your hits without them and not fun guessing.

My son and I each have one and we took them out for the first time last weekend. We put them on some silhouette targets at 500 and 700 yards out in bright sunshine. The performed flawlessly and were easily seen with the naked eye. I highly recommend them.
