SImple but works

THis is a great addition to an AR that doesnt come with a QD mount from factory. Except for removing the castle nut (which can be a pain), installing this product is extremely easy. Recommend you to use a vise to go through the whole process,

Magpul ASAP Ambi end plate.

Did not want my sling attached to my stock so was looking for an option till I found this Magpul end plate ambi sling attachment point. It was easy to install took me like five minutes if you have the right tool. Just loosen the castle nut to remove the tube and install the Magpul endplate.

Poor Quality

The Magpul QD endplate has several flaws given the price point. The key is very small and the endplate is so oversized it makes indexing on the buffer tube less than ideal. I cannot recommend an endplate that is so loose and cannot be properly staked. For the price you would be better off using Griffin Armament, Blackout Defense, or V seven.
