This wrench is very well made but it gets one star because if you want to use it on the KAK Shockwave buffer tube IT WILL NOT FIT! Built like a tank, does the job
This is one solid wrench, you could probably run it over with your truck and it’d be fine (I haven’t done this, I’m just betting based on the feel). The durability really came in handy when I had to remove my castle nut from my MR556. That thing must have been tightened by Thor because it was an epic struggle to get it off. The great thing about this wrench was that it slid onto the buffer tube, locked into the nut, and held firm. After basically having to jump up and down on it to get the nut to release, it finally came free. A lesser wrench would not have survived. I haven’t used it to replace any muzzle devices, but I’m betting it works just as well. Magpul reliability and quality. Not much more you could ask for.

Pretty straight forward really.
Castle nut wrench. Must slide it over the buffer tube, so obviously you will need to remove the stock. If you can't remove your stock, this tool will not work.
Barrel nut wrench. Many handguards now come with their own unique barrel nuts, so again this tool may not apply in your particular situation.
Crows foot slot for torque wrench on both ends.
Works fine for a standard, no-frills AR-15 build like from Ruger.

I prefer the Real Avid Master Wrench because it has an open Castle nut wrench, can be used as a hammer (with brass, rubber, plastic removable heads) and still has a crows foot slot for a torque wrench. Unfortunately, the Real Avid wrench is made in China, but sold at a Made in USA price. :(

The magpul ar15 armorer's wrench is pretty much everything you need and nothing that you don't. I find this will cover doing nearly everything you need for an ar15 other than some punches and a torque ratchet/wrench, which is used with this wrench. This is the gold standard ar15 wrench.
