Exceeded my expectations!
I am beginning to think that nothing you buy from Magpul will be a disappointment. I bought this carbine stock to replace the stock mil-type stock on my Rock River carbine. The original stock was a loose fit on the buffer tube and rattled. This stock locks up super tight and feels great. Literally takes less than 30 seconds to remove the old one and install the new one. Just make sure you confirm if your carbine has the mil-spec or Commercial buffer tube, and order the correct stock. My RRA has a Commercial buffer tube which sadly I would have had to replace to go to the FDE parts I was hoping to install. But I bought the black Commercial stock and was so pleased I ordered a second one for another carbine setup. Recommended 100 percent!

Mil spec stock not commercial spec
Fits my mil spec buffer tube rifles perfect but not my Windham Armory rifle.
Windham Armory buffer tubes are commercial spec.

Does not fit all Commercial tubes!!!
Does not fit all commercial tubes. I bought one last October and it fit so tight, had to put the barrel of the gun on the ground and use two hands to adjust it. Called Magpul, I measured everything and they said it was a defective part. I waited for 6 months to receive a new stock all to have the same problem. Now they are telling me it doesn't fit all commercial tubes and I cannot return it to the store I purchased from (60 day return policy) or to Magpul. So, I lost the cost of the stock, the S&H for sending it back and 6 months without the use of my rifle. Customer service is joke, so many better options out there.

AR-15 Stock
Love this product and it fits perfectly. It’s a little hard to put on but after that it’s not going anywhere. The standard black color goes really well with the style I’m using. I’m also glad that I was able to get my hands on this one since it was sold out all across Colorado.

Typical Magpul quality, I never had any problems with their products, in this stock is no exception. I installed this on an AR-10. It fits snugly and has no rattle or play. Easy to adjust and has QD sockets on both sides.

MAGPUL CTR Stock
Fits great on my Core15. Looks alot better too. No movement at all on buffer tube adjust just fine with my rifle. Cheaper here than anywhere else I looked. Thanks for the quick shipment, I had no problems what so ever getting it or putting it on. Go DawGs!

This Magpul stock is a great product for the money. However shipping did take much longer than I had expected. Can’t complain too much about Optics Planet though. They are typically great to buy from.

Magpul CTR Stock
Customizing an older model bushmaster sitting in the safe. Stock was a little tighter than original stock, and a little difficult to get started on the buffer tube, but loosened up once adjusted a few times. The locking lever really tightens things up further giving a really solid rattle free stock. Love the new look too.

Great price, great product
I purchased two CTR's for my children's AR's. The price was what drew me and to see it was a quality Magpul product was a bonus. The stocks are extemely light weight without sacrificing the sturdy feel that i was looking for. I will definitely purchase more as my younger children get older.
