Works Great
I watched several videos on how to install the Magpul Mag Well. I can say the videos made it look harder than it was to install. mine was quick and easy. 5 minutes max and it works great. Now I can load a couple on mags and have them with me.
bottom metal / plastic for peak 44
put this on a peak 44 with hinged floor plate cut out. very little modifying to carbon stock. Had to drop the depth of the trigger action screw hole , but did that with a forsner bit so it did not protrude on the hand position. relieved 2 spot on the cross piece in front of the trigger and got the end to sit flush. took about 20 minutes total.. popped the clip in and ran it for function and it works great. light weight rifle with bergera CF barrel premier action, peak 44 stock and magpul bottom. great light weight rifle for packing for long runs in the hills.
Pros:
- light weight
Cons:
- non
Best Used for:
- back country hunting

Converted my Remington 700 30-06 BDL no problems
Paired with the Magpul long pull stock this works pretty good for converting a vanilla Remington 700 30-06 to a mag fed model. It was easy to install and had no real problems with feed or reliability.
I'm giving it 3 stars because the mag release is futzy and doesn't quite always seat reliably and I could see this being problematic under a stressful situation. Travel for the mag release is temperamental and loading rounds feels awkward in the provided magpul mag.

Great magizine for the price.
The magizine attachment works great and had no problems. The only thing I’d change is base plate. It is made out of plastic and I’ve had no problems with it but I’d rather it be made out of steal. That being said magazine ejects without any problems and feeds well. I am using it on a 300 win mag and have no problems with hand loads that are .030 over Sami spec fitting in magizine. So the Hornady ELD Match 225 grain and Sst 150 grain fit great in there.
Pros:
- Price , reliability and light weight
Cons:
- All plastic

Magpul 700 Long Action magnum well kit
If you are restocking your Rem 700 rifle with the Magpul Hunter stock then this is one add on you have to get. This item made my 700ADL rifle in to a great hunting rifle or competition rifle. 5 round magazine with plenty of space for those that load their rounds long. Cartridge overall length is very generous. Worth every penny.
Pros:
- Drop In Installation
- silky smooth feeding
- detachable box magazine
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- hunting or competition

Magpul Industries Bolt Action Magazine Well Kit
Must have add on. The magazine functions perfects, with no jams. Great fit and finish. This is a huge upgrade from the stock bottom metal. It is great having the option of changing clips or having clips with more capacity that the standard bottom metal.

300WM build
Bought this for my 300 win mag build. Fit my budget, especially the spare mags vs AICS. The construction feels solid but light. I have been using Magpul for years, and have been planning a build with the 700 hunter magnum stock.

Better than stock. Extremely durable!
First off. Opticsplanet was the only company that had the Magnum size cartridge. I'be cancelled 5 orders at big & small retailers that never came through.
Secondly if you're going to rebuild your gun with Magpul stock. Their trigger guard and mag's are a must have match.
I can't imagine this ever giving me a bit of trouble. Is military quality...possibly. Sand is any gun's enemy, but this could take some abuse for awhile if made too.
Still waiting on the 10 round mag. When that is in & I have a 5 & 10 rd clips, I'll be done!
