Great sights, the MBUS 3 are very similar to the previous ones, slight improvement I suppose.

I got this for a Patrol Rifle that a Retired LEO Family Member Received from his Department 30+ years ago. It has since had the Carry Handle removed and an Optic installed but still carries the A2 Front Sight/ Gas Block. I’ve purchased several Rifles with the old Magpul Rear Sight and much prefer this new design. The way the aperture flips as one piece is much more refined, rugged and cleaner to look through than the old “Fill the 0-2 Hole” design. I also like the larger windage adjustment as the Original could be difficult to adjust and felt less tactile. Yes, it’s a poly backup sight, but it’s much improved and costs much less than other “High End” Metal Rear Sights that achieve the same goal.
One Con is that the Windage Knob does stick out Further than the Original and can catch your hand if it’s too close to the Charging Handle. I simply moved it up Two Slots on the Pic Rail to gain the needed clearance.
Overall, I’m very pleased with it and was happy to provide an improvement on a Rifle that will most likely become a Family heirloom, even if it doesn’t end up with me.

Was gonna get a cheaper set of irons but finally settled on a a good in-between price range glad I did. Works perfectly with the a2 gasblock front sight

Goes on easy. Loving the toolless adjustments. Reliable and pretty tough. Is exactly how it's described.

Excellent quality, easy install, easy function. Like the beefier adjustment knob and larger aperture holes.

The site goes on snug, very snug but operates and zeros fine. Used with Troy industry front site...no issues

Magpul did it again with these MBUS3 units. Love the center activation button and the thinner over all profile.

I have several of these. They aren't the most expensive, and not the cheapest, but they work! Magpul for the win. I like to mark the front sight with some fluorescent orange paint, since they are black. It helps me focus that much faster.
