I purchased these for my department. We are issuing new rifles and I wanted a slimmer BUIS. These are noticeably thinner than the gen2 and fit the job perfectly. The slide on with little effort and, honestly, were 100% on zero out of the box. Couldn't be happier!

All of my rifles are equipped with these. Never had any issues. Durable and rugged.

You cannot go wrong with these. Ultimate peace of mind for sure.

Nice quality as with all Magpul accessories, even though the packaging was authentic Magpul the mounting bolt was missing from the factory sealed blister pack. I contacted Optics Planet about this and they contacted Magpul directly to request a replacement mounting bolt for me, I did include pictures with my email to OP and they attempted to represent me in this manner and Magpul told them they could not contact them on my behalf. I also went to the Magpul site and filled out the "Contact Us" form and provided pictures of what I received from Optics Planet the same day I contacted Optics Planet and I have yet to hear from Magpul. In my email I told Magpul I was disappointed in the fact that this left their manufacturing facility without the mounting bolt. Seems they aren't bothered by an integral part of one of their products not being included for the end user. I have purchased plenty of products from Magpul over the years and this is the fort problem I have had. I will look elsewhere in the future.

No product complaints. Great price. Decent shipping. Pulled the trigger despite all of the negative reviews and was not disappointed. Will continue to purchase from them until they make me mad or try to screw me over. Haha.

I brought this because of a buddy saying these was the back up sights on the market.He wasn’t lying.I barely had to adjust it to get it on point.I would definitely recommend this product to anyone for backup sights or everyday sight

I got this for a Patrol Rifle that a Retired LEO Family Member Received from his Department 30+ years ago. It has since had the Carry Handle removed and an Optic installed but still carries the A2 Front Sight/ Gas Block. I’ve purchased several Rifles with the old Magpul Rear Sight and much prefer this new design. The way the aperture flips as one piece is much more refined, rugged and cleaner to look through than the old “Fill the 0-2 Hole” design. I also like the larger windage adjustment as the Original could be difficult to adjust and felt less tactile. Yes, it’s a poly backup sight, but it’s much improved and costs much less than other “High End” Metal Rear Sights that achieve the same goal.
One Con is that the Windage Knob does stick out Further than the Original and can catch your hand if it’s too close to the Charging Handle. I simply moved it up Two Slots on the Pic Rail to gain the needed clearance.
Overall, I’m very pleased with it and was happy to provide an improvement on a Rifle that will most likely become a Family heirloom, even if it doesn’t end up with me.
