The parts were easy to install even if it took a bit of hard twisting .it turned my old wasr into an entirely new rifle. My sons are fighting over who gets it now..

This hand guard took a little bit of modding on my DPMS Anvil, but nothing too crazy. I had to cut off the sling mount on my lower hand guard retainer since it sits inside of the MOE Handguard, but that was my only hiccup. Before i installed it, i also put a piccatinny rail on the bottom for a foregrip, and that was super simple. I was pleasantly surprised with the heat shield performance, i put about 500 rounds down range and never once felt any abnormal heat, even when grabbing the gas tube cover of the guard after firing 60rds quickly.

This fit my Century Arms BFT47 with no modifications required. It went into place easily with a rubber mallet and was a HUGE upgrade from my wood!

Installed on a WASR 10/63, Fits well, comfortable, tacticool. Installation is a bit of a chore, but doable. The piece that connects the gas block to the receiver on the AK has to be put into the top of the handguard backwards, then spun around to fit very snuggly into the correct place. This is in the instructions but can be a little confusing due to weird wording. Bottom of handguard DOES have a pre-installed heatshield. Most important to note is that the extended handguard covers the small block which holds the bottom in place to the receiver for no wiggle. On this particular AK, there was a steel sling loop jutting out that would NOT allow the bottom half of the handguard to install. So be warned if you have this sling loop on your handguard locking piece, its going to have to be California Non-Compliant. A dremel tool will do the trick. Possibly the non-extended MOE handguard will allow the loop to not get BTFOd. Magpul quality as always. After sighting-in and shooting the WASR, there was no problems with the handguard at all, it did not get too hot, it didnt wiggle or come loose, and its still very california compliant when not installed on a firearm. I knock one star simply because my installation was quite the chore, but your mileage will vary.

It's a tight fit on my century arms knack 9X but it looks great and does a terrific job of keeping the heat off of your hand during extended range sessions. I was very pleased with the texture ring on the grip it seems to me to be very high quality

A great product, as you expect from Magpul. Easy to install and fits perfectly. I love the gray color and ordered a pistol grip and brace to match. Would highly recommend for any AK74 AK47 or any other AK variant

It took a bit of Dremmel work to get the lower front hand guard to fit to the receiver. It was nice Magpul had provided enough material to make it possible for fitment on a variety of makes of AK rifles.

This handguard is a great product, was able to fit it easy on my Century Arms C39V2 without having to do any modification, installing M LOKs on this handguard was really easy, ergonomics was also really good have a good feeling when holding the rifle, would highly recommend to those looking to improve their AK47....
