Easy to attach, secure with thread locker.
This is a very simple product. It provides an attachment point for a standard ball-detent style QD sling to an picatinny rail. I purchased this for my front hand guard to serve as an attachment point for a two point sling. I would not trust this product as a single point sling attachment. Just my opinion, but after shooting about 30 rounds, the screw had worked its way loose enough that I was able to work it off without trouble. I added some thread locker to the screw and now its holding just fine.

It's a magpul product and they make good stuff. I needed this so I could use my sling. It is steel and well made. With this you have a lot of options on sling location. Simply move to any spot with picatinny rail.

Great for relocating sling
This thing is exactly what I needed to relocate my sling point. It’s on my 7.5” ar15 which does not give me a lot of room for purchase. I found the palm of my hand would hits the sting point. This magpul qd rail attachment was able to get the sling out of the way and it’s on the back end of the handguard so it’s not in the way of anything else. I’m very pleased.
