Yes it works with 7.62x39 Ranch
I installed this stock on my 7.62x39 Ruger American Ranch. For magazines, I am using Duramag curved AR-15 7.62x39. There is a little wobble but it is secure. Bolt cycles rounds just fine. You do need to be assertive and deliberate why cycling the bolt.

After waiting 13 months to actually ship, it arrived with much fanfare, and then fizzled. Magpul for ruger american hunter
Great stock upgrade for my rougher American hunter chambered in 5.56. Much more comfortable than the factory stock. Can’t wait to get out and hunt some coyotes, and hogs.

Bottom line, up front: Rounds would not cycle after installing this stock onto my Ruger Ranch chambered in .300 Blackout.

big upgrade over OEM Ruger stock
Noticeably higher quality feel than the standard Ruger American Ranch stock. The adjustability of length of pull ahd comb height is very useful, and the design of the stock fixes the problem I had with the original stock where cycling the bolt sometimes caused it to hit my strong side hand (I'm a lefty so my left hand holds the rifle while I cycle the bolt with my right).

450 Bushmaster Works great
Solid feel, easily adjustable. Bought it wondering if it would work on my 450 Bushmaster American to upgrade from the sub par Ruger magazine. Works fantastic with 450 AR mag. Only down side is it is almost double the weight of the factory stock.

Solid stock!!!
If you’re like me and bought a Ruger American Ranch cause you’re cheap but also appreciate quality, then this stock will help your buyer’s remorse by making the RAR FEEL like a quality rifle. This stock is heavy but super solid. The biggest draw to me was that this was the only replacement stock I could find that accommodates STANAG (aka AR15) mags. I wanted to keep the ability to trade 300blk mags between my AR15 and RAR.

- has all the attachments
- Retains STANAG mags if you have that model

Yes it works for ranch edition in 762x39
I was worried about getting this due to the lack of reviews about the ranch edition in 762x39 . But I ended doing it anyway. Works well with the AR magazine that’s meant for 762x39. I chose the 5 rounders and 10 round magazines. Regular pmags for 223/556 fit and chamber the round but I don’t like how the rounds don’t constantly chamber.

Hunter American Stock- STANAG
Even though this stock is still fairly new and is listed as Backordered, I went ahead and placed the order anyway. To my surprise, it was shipped out the next day. I guess they will trickle in and out as they arrive from Magpul.
I just installed it this morning on my 300BLK rifle and like most Magpul items, does not disappoint. Not that changing out a rifle stock is brain surgery, but the ease of adding LOP or a different cheek riser definitely a winning feature. The stock itself is very rigid so it gives you a greater sense of stability than the OEM one. M-LOK slot and other mounting options make this a home run.
