Daka C35 hard case

I purchased a Daka R44 hard case for myself, I like every thing about it, but wished I got the smaller C35 case for ease of use. A brother of mine in another state ( retired Army CW3 Cobra pilot ) mentioned he was looking for a decent gun case so I sent him a Magpul C35 hard case for his birthday via Optics Planet. All went well as it always does with Optics Planet, and my brother says it is perfect for his needs.

Definite Upgrade

Much better than my standard carrying case/bag that I ran with for so long. Grid organizers do their job in keeping your rifle secure. My 16in with a collapsible stock it the longest you can go without separating it apart, or buying the next case size up. This is golden for anyone with an SBR. Plenty of room for gloves, a few mags, and any candy you may need. I had to buy the extra v-cut inserts for the barrel also as they are not included in the base kit. Five stars if Magpul includes those going forward.
Pros:
  • protects and holds gun securely
  • prevents damage and dinging when stowed
Cons:
  • V-cut blocks should be included in base kit, even if its only two

less money than an OtterBox and reason why

Nice feature set. Good price. Magpul has generally well thought-out products, this being one of them. Lid does feel a bit thin and so far the product feels worth the sub 300 dollars I paid.

I'm able to fit a 16" carbine and a 10.5" sbr in this case with a suppressor, 200-ish rounds and 6 magazines. The versatile layout allows you to change as necessary for your requirements, which was a big selling point for me. Bottom line, if you're looking for something that is affordable, durable, and versatile then this is recommended for you.
