Works as Advertised
Fair price and fast delivery. Works just like the ad said. Did both Polymer and metal mags - no problems. It is not as smmoth running as a fine tuned machine, but does fine if you don't rush it. If You can use a steady cadance to load mag, it will provide a seamless load.

Magpul auto loader
Product failed on first use, continue to jam, manufacture, had to send me a new one. Waiting on the new one to arrive.
Works well enough
By the sound of it, you would think you could just dump ammo in the top willy nilly and have no problems. Actually though, you do have to make sure the rounds aren't sideways. You can have some pointing forwards and some pointing backwards, but when it's a completely disorganized pile in the hopper, it's not going to make it into the magazine. It does work nice and quickly, and its design is sturdy enough that you can kind of lean on it if you're a physically weak and lightweight person like me lol. Much like pump action shotguns and lever action rifles, you want to avoid short stroking it, but even when you do, it doesn't really jam, it just doesn't go all the way in and you have to press the lever right.

quick mag loading.
I got this to reload quickly during training.
I had a dozen mags loaded. But the trainer wanted partial mags loaded for mag change drills. This unit helped me fill in various numbers.
For the most, it works well. But if you get a round in there verticle, you have to dump all then load. It's a little awkward, but im guessing when i get used to it, it will be better.

Time and finger saver
Works as described. It seems to work better with already used magazines and ammo.(reloads) hoping that once loader gets broke in it is more consistent working. It worked on 223 great and not so great on 556. The 556 were 1st fire going into new mags. The 223 were reloads going into already used mags. That's how my thinking is what it is. Good product and am happy with it. Hoping it only gets better.

Excellent product!!
This device makes short work of loading AR15 magazines. A MUST HAVE for anyone who enjoys shooting 223 or 5.56!

Update from Last review
2nd loader Received _ Optics planet has been great in getting me the replacement fast (as can be expected around holidays). My return of the other unit was easy. Unfortunately this one is like the first. There is a "plunger" piece that goes up and down when you crank it. Its designed to do the first bit of sorting in the hopper before going down the tumbler into the magazine. But the plunger does not return on its own. I have to keep applying pressure to the bullets or push down on the hopper each time for every crank. Its unfortunate. I believe its combo if the plastic and how its machined. Maybe it needs a spring somewhere.

My friends $20 speed loader was faster!
Still waiting on reply from manufacturer. Mine didn’t work. Bullets seem to lockup because the plunger piece that goes up and down in the hopper doesn’t go back down. Seems like everything is sticking together. Again, still waiting for customer service to contact me back.

Great design makes loading easy. But I first had to cut the plastic down on the feeder since every time it came up it stuck. Poor factory quality control

MagPump 223/556 AR-15 Magazine Loader
Put the hooper on with 2 lock pins and it was ready to go...I put 30 rounds into the hopper, pushed in the magazine and starting loading...I did learn you need to listen for the round to drop, before pushing thr lever to load, but you get hang of it quickly... Loads the magazines completely full, with little effort...No cut thumbs or pushing in rounds one by one...No power or batteries required so you can take it anywhere....I am going to order the double stack handgun loader next...
