I loved the look and features of this watch. I wear it every day and must have banged it against something and it stopped working and suffered some damage to the numbers. It was likely outside the warranty, but after talking to customer service they took care of the watch, repaired it, and fixed its timekeeping as it was a bit slow. It's not often you experience great customer care like Marathon and Optics Planet but it has a way of remembering them as an honorable company.

Overall the watch is really great, easy to read even with no light at all. The rubber strap is extremely comfortable to wear and overall the watch is well build.
The reason for only 3 stars is the Marathon company and how they regulate the movement. My watch is running behind at -8 seconds per 24 hours which usually is not acceptable. Contacting Marathon on this issue they told me that a +-12 seconds/24h is within specification of the movement and to get the watch regulated I would have to open a service claim at a cost of $150, shipping not included. I haven't seen any watch manufacturer with this understanding of customer satisfaction.
Would I buy the watch again? Certainly but only with a certification that the watch is regulated to 0 +5 seconds per 24 hours.
Since qualified watch makers who can regulate the watch as desired are rare in the US I will have to wait until my next trip to Europe to get this done.
