Scope has an extremely narrow field of image acquisition - the eye has to be in an exact position relative to the scope eyepiece to get a full image. March EP 36-55x52 Benchrest Scope

I use this scope for rimfire benchrest. I started off with a Leupold then with a Nightforce and ended up with the March, the gold standard in benchrest or long range competition. I can crank it up to 55X for maximum magnification or down to 36X when there's a lot of mirage. The side focus is great and the zoom is fantastic - it holds zero throughout the zoom range, something I've found lacking with Nightforce. It's light weight put me easily within 10 1/2 pound class It also focuses down to 10 yards which is an excellent feature when first mounted the scope to a rifle and sighting it in. Highly recommend.

March 36 x 55 benchrest scope-#MAR1008

Extremely disappointed in the quality of the optics . Very poor image it is cloudy or fogged , it is not crisp , sharp or clear. Only a slight improvement can be obtained with focus adjustment . Can not recommend this model scope . I have used a 50 power March for over three years and are very pleased with it , was hoping this unit would be of equal quality ,this one for $2300.00 it's a disappointment .
