First off, this is a March scope and that says practically everything. If you haven't owned one, these scopes are absolutely superb! Incredible Japanese ED glass, impeccable craftsmanship, made from a single billet of aluminum. They track perfectly, the clicks are incredibly precise, and their reticles are informational without being cluttered. I personally place March at the top of my list, which includes Leupold, Nightforce, Leica, Burris, Vortex Razor, and the usual suspects. March are built like tanks, so no need to baby them.
I expect a sunshade and the usual accessories in a premium scope, and March delivers them. I like that they include an aperture reducer, which for those who haven't used one it cuts the light (reduces mirage and glare) while increasing depth of field. Optically the scope is beyond reproach. Given this is a 10x turret it really is shocking how well they pulled the optics off. It's bright, clear, sharp, absent of CA, and only the slightest resolution fall-off at the edges.
While 1.5-15x, on paper, sounds like the goldilocks of magnification range do keep in mind that with standard rifle bar...
